Lahat ng Kabanata ng Love in Thorns, Guns and Shackles: Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

The warehouse was dark and abandoned; Marco closed the door and dragged Elena to a cover of sacks on the far end. The hall had long square shaped pillars lined on two sides in the middle, there were a few sacks and cartons packed in it.“Don’t say I didn’t warn you, Leonardo will do things worse than death to you,” Elena mumbled as he made her hide behind the sacks at the far end of the hall. Their position gave them an advantage over the intruders.“Just stay quiet and don’t do anything silly. Your boyfriend isn’t some god, and if he doesn’t stop coming after me, then I would just have to kill him.” Marco said in a cold voice.Even though he sounded tough, and unwavering, Elena could sense the fear in him. He was about to go face to face with the god of guns, the serial assassin, Assassino Del Fratello himself. To make it worse, Leo also had Mateo with him. There was no way Marco would outlast Leo alone, speak more of Mat

Leo walks into the warehouse where Elena and Marco were discussing, he felt jealousy rush through his veins at the sight of that but he chose to remain focused on his priorities, Elena might not have said yes to his proposal but she didn’t exactly say no either, which means she was into him as well and he would have her all to himself later.Marco didn’t even flinch an eyelid at the sight of the Mafia Boss, not minding the gun he had in his hand. For reasons best known to him, he was almost certain that Leo wouldn’t shoot him, maybe because Elena was there with them. Seeing how he was bonding with Elena, the Mafia Boss would know better than to kill him in her presence.“Listen here Captain, I am sure you have heard,” Leo started arrogantly.“That your guys don’t want you anymore? Yes, I have… I am sorry; do you need a shoulder to cry on? Well, I don’t have one,” Marco teased. Funny how he could have fun with someone who wouldn’t hesita

“What do you mean you can’t find the Metal Storm gun?” Lorenzo asked as he stepped out in his Pajamas. He had been woken up this early with such bad news.“We searched the entire armor room, the gun isn’t there. Someone must have taken it out, but who could it be?” Luca replied with a worried look on his face.“I personally loaded the guns that Leonardo had left with yesterday, the metal storm gun wasn’t with him. We need to find that gun before it gets into the wrong hands,” Lorenzo emphasized.“By wrong hands, you mean Scarface, right?” Luca asked; the fear on his face was very visible, he knew well to be terrified of Scarface.“Yes, if he has that weapon and finds out about our betrayal, he would not hesitate to use it on us, he will massacre our men with that beast of a gun. Mateo has gone radio silent since yesterday and Leo hasn’t contacted us either. It is obvious that something had gone wrong with the plan, if

Elena was starting to breath heavily in fear while saying her last prayers, this was it, she was going to die and nothing would be found of her remains. The young lady had driven an armored car from Leo’s secret arsenal to the Scorpione Mafia house as a distraction for the men. They had requested that she reveal her identity by coming down from the vehicle but she wasn’t ready to do that, well she was going to die the moment she stepped out of here. Leo was no longer in charge and so she wouldn’t be welcome here.As originally planned, she had refused to come down from the vehicle or reveal her face; she just kept her hands on the fire gears, ready to shoot if it came to that. Well, she didn’t expect this to turn out this way, she knew that she was supposed to keep the entire army busy till the boys got rid of their leaders and then they will come for her, but now they had gotten tired of waiting and were about to blow an explosive into the armo

“Yesss!!!” Anna screams in excitement and jumps on the bed.“Babe, what happened?” Rocco asked as he rushed into the room immediately.“It’s gone Viral; my paper on Mafia society has gone viral!! Over a thousand copies have been distributed already and my blog has gotten over a million engagements worldwide and it has only been forty-eight hours since publication,” she exclaimed.“Wow, that is good news babe, I am proud of you,” Rocco uttered with a smile on his face. Well, he didn’t give off as much energy as Anna was giving right now, but he was glad. Now he could have her undivided attention as she was done with her obsession to expose the Mafia.“I know, I am so happy. All of my hard work has paid off, not only has the truth about the Mafia and its members being put out in public, all of the bad guys are now being hunted for prosecution regardless of their ranks and I have become very popular for being the tool through
