Several miles away from the borders of the glitch public shelter, a man and a woman wearing Kevlar-suits dragged their feet on the dreary valleys of Ahanya. The sky has already lost its color, bearing a pitch-black darkness blending against the dying aurora hovering between the two beautiful scarlet moons beyond the horizon.Amidst the limited visibility, there was an abundance of the inhuman and beastly wails resonating from the darkest corners of the valley. A cries of death and torture, coming from several miles from the current location. The man had his face partially covered with a black cloth. With his face-covered, he held a primal bow in his hands with an arrow nocked on the bowstring. His boots flattened the grass below with each step while his fingers on the tail of the arrow jittered uncontollably. Surprisingly his breath was steady, yet, his pupils were stretched out to their limits. He walked behind at a consitent pace, while the woman was dripping with a charm of untamed

"IT'S A MOUSETRAP…"Those ear screeching words entered his ears, but they were too slow. His spine had already sensed the danger. His pulse raged like thunder while his elbow felt a draft of air. His left shoulder went numb. An unexplainable tick passed through his spine, screaming that something or someone was behind him. Before he could even turn around, his vision went through a sickening turbulence. Unfortunately, his reflexes couldn't react to any of those warning signs. His body flew through the air and brutally crashed against the tree. ~THUDThe back side of his own arrow that was impaled on the tree trunk passed digging a hole through his stomach. The archer's whole body was now skewered on the tree trunk like a painting hanging by the wall through a nail. Also, his left arm was already ripped out of his shoulder, dripping the stream of blood at the foot of the tree. The blood kept gushing out from several other wounds too that cropped up because of brutal thrashing agains

"Just blow the damn whistle… I'm so exhausted!" Agenor grunted as he barely dodged the creature talons, " My lungs are already way past their limits…"Colt nodded. He put his hand in his back pocket and pulled out a shiny red whistle. He took a deep breath and blew it. A sharp sound echoed in the entire vicinity of the forest. All of sudden, the beast's ears perked up and jiggled. Something unexpected happened. The bloodlust in his eyes faded like clouds on a sunny day. He immediately turned docile and backed off. The scorching aura that was tormenting everyone's sanity disappeared without a trace. The beast even stopped his vicious growling. The serene tranquility followed along with the creature racing back to the foot of the huge tree and licking his own talons.Noticing this abrupt bipolar behavior, Agenor pulled out a sling bag with several huge meatballs. The glance of those meatballs made Inca drool from his mouth. His mouth opened automatically showing his bloody teeth."Here

"We are here" Fang turned to Creed, who was busy gleaming at the alien crowd, "so... what now?""uhm… yeah.. Wait.. hold on… give me a sec!" Creed flustered, hovered his fingers over his watch. "I do have an address.""Cool! I'll get a cab or something…" Fang replied, and rushed to leave until Creed grabbed him by his shoulder. He said, "Thanks… for helping me out."Fang looked into his eyes for a second. His smile turned upside down, and his face got painted with a horrendous expression. His throat made a horrifying gurgling sound, as if it was going to burst. ~blergh"Jesus Christ! How are you so cringe…" His first response was a disgusted scoff, "Stop that… or I'm gonna puke on your crotch!""Shut up, you dipshit. I'm serio—""Listen, dude… it's all good!" Fang interrupted him, "Visiting an alien planet could be a bit overwhelming the first few times! I've been there, so I know. Also, Jake told me about your sassy adventure at the party. He couldn't come, so I had to come, anyway

"I've never seen something like this before... "Rolin pupils dilated as he stared at the digital chart hovering over his head, "Are you really sure that this arrow has only been used 8 or 9 times…""Yes..""What about your bow? Is that broken too?""No.. my bow is fine!""Unbelievable.." Rolin murmured in bewilderment, " I am seriously at a loss of words!""Why is that so hard to believe?" Creed questioned,"Because that is not how a bow and arrow works! You see… the amount of tension these arrows have gone through is no less than insane. Technically, this is what you call strain beyond a sustainable threshold. But I wonder why your bowstring is not breaking even with such intense pressure?""My bowstring?""Yeah! I mean… from all the information I have so far. I can surely tell you that raw strength is not the real culprit here because if it was the case, your bow must also be broken."He continued, "Hence, It's not just your raw strength that shreds your arrow… There is also some kin
