Lahat ng Kabanata ng MAGE WARS: Sword of Solace: Kabanata 231 - Kabanata 240

She clung to his left leg and disrupted his attack, giving Jrue just enough time to engage. Tyndale looked down and saw Lora wrapped around his leg, and for a slight second, he had his guard down, exposing a small window of opportunity for Jrue to manage an attack. He reacted a moment too late, and the arm he lifted to serve as a shield was incised with the blade deeply. Jrue tried to add weight to the blade to deepen the puncture and render his arm unusable, but the other free arm reached out, his neck was caught in a strangle, and the man’s fingers dug deep into his throat. Lora was catapulted into the air and as she was floating above the room’s floor her brother collided with her. They came crashing down hard. At that point she could feel her shoulder was out of place, perhaps it was dislocated. Ladzgery looked down at the gushing wound on his forearm and smiled. Nobody knew what was going on inside that sadistic mind of his, but the results of his thoughts weren’t generally kn

Drom was amongst the state guards, he tried hard to control the pace of his breathing but he could not. His body was without a functioning heart which made doing anything that required rapid movement a strenuous affair. “How’s the king doing?” Thomas asked the crowd of state guards surrounding him. “Uh, not good sir. He might be losing consciousness.” Robert answered back. As he was giving his response he looked back at Drom and noticed a patch of red coloring on his top. He slightly peaked through the sagging shirt and noticed the heavy layer of bandages running across his chest. “I think he might be injured. And he is losing a lot of blood!” “Quickly then! We have to get clear off this battlefield and tend to him!” Tyndale was surprisingly outmatching the duo of Daito and Jericho in certain moments. He flung a blast towards the beast and tackled Daito to the ground. Pinning him to the muddy floor. As Daito struggled to free himself of the stranglehold, Tyndale groaned at him,

After a few moments of hesitation, he opened his mouth and let out a quiet, long sigh, followed by a strained voice. "He's deteriorating. They say that the shai is corrupting him at a quicker rate than they anticipated! They have no idea how much longer he has." "My father won't tell me either; he claims he will be able to assist him though," They sat silently on the branch for a moment, accumulating a long period of uncomfortable silence. "However, I am certain that your father can prevail; if anyone will assist him, it is my father!" Daito said, seeking to comfort his friend and restore the semblance of happiness they had shared just moments before. "He vowed that he would stay with me until I graduated from noble school. His health has been strengthening over the past few days, and I'm certain that by the time the next moon arrives, he'll be back on his feet!" "That's the spirit, for sure! Besides, I'm looking forward to finishing Noble school and starting my training!" "Me

It took him a while to realize what was going on. “...oh, I understand now. You never intended to engage me in a fistfight because you know I would win. So you decided to poison me with your blade! Very very intelligent of you. That is why I made you my lieutenant.” “Shut up you old fool! Your time has come to an end here!” Jrue said, wheezing after every word. Tyndale’s body completely shut down. He fell frozen to the ground, unable to move a single muscle. Jrue crawled up to him and yanked out a small dagger from the top of his shoe. “A paralytic Poison. I see I taught you well my son…” “Don’t you ever dare call me that again!” He picked up his right arm and slit his wrist across, doing the same to his left hand. Jrue wanted him to suffer. He wanted him to bleed to death knowing that he was powerless, unable to do anything about it and save himself. He left him outside and limped back into the house. All the soldiers guarding the house had evacuated, deployed to handle the upr

“Well, he’s pretty much what he used to be before you left, always a smile on his face, always wanting to help everyone. He’s practically the definition of the nicest most positive person you'll ever meet. Though he did change for a while after you died, I mean you get what I’m saying. He didn't turn out to be like his father that's for sure.” “..So, he sent you to find me.” “Despite everyone telling him you are gone he still had hoped you were out there somewhere. He knew you were too stubborn to give up on life that easily, so he didn't give up on you. He has been searching for you for six years! I wish I had a friend like that.” “That damn oaf!” Daito said, crowning it off with his signature chuckle. Alicia secretly eyed his smile, his slightly curved smile. It was beautiful, and his expression was heartfelt. It was then that she knew Daito wanted to go back to his friend, he wanted to return home so badly and meet his best friend, no, his brother. But she also saw the sadness t
