COMBAT DAYAN HOUR BEFORE THE FIGHTARTHUR'S POVI stood behind the window and starred out. I had watched Maya train deep into the night. I could never let Eleanor face her in a combat. She would kill her with a fling of her sword. Even if Eleanor hd trained all the hours for the past five days, she would never match her energy and skills. It is very obvious to me whoever has sent her had the intentions of killing Eleanor. I waited impatiently for Jeremy. Today, he will get to the root and reveal to me who Maya has been seeing and working with. But I already made my decision. Whatever the outcome of his mission, I will not be letting Eleanor take part in this fight. What on earth was keeping Jeremy late…I must hurry now to hide Eleanor before the time for the combat reach. Jeremy entered moments later. I turned away from the window to meet him halfway into the room. "Did you find out anything?" We were in my room alone. I had made sure to ask him where no one else would hear.

WRITER'S POVOnce Arthur left, Dennis let out a chunk of air he didn't know he had been holding in while he exchanged words with Arthur. He couldn't imagine where he had gotten the boldness to match up to Arthur in that manner. But what kept replaying in his head was Arthur's question. "Do you like her? Do you have feelings for her?""Do I like her? Do I have feelings for her?" He asked himself rhetorically. Even he don't know the answer to the question only that he knew he was prepared to go any length to save Eleanor. >>>>>>ELEANOR'S POVAN HOUR BEFORE THE FIGHTI stared at the attire the servants had brought to me. It is supposed to be my wears for the combat. Helmet, Amoured Breastplate, Boot, a shining sword and a shield. It was exactly as I have seen in the movies. They looked quite heavy and even a little heavy when I tried lifting them but enough to shield a sword from easily slithing through a body. I have trained hard. I couldn't even believe I would torture my body

WRITER'S POVBATTLE GROUNDThe announcer for the fight comes up and announced that the fight will soon begin. Most affluent werewolves attended and even majority of the common ones. They were all curious. No one has ever seen the Luna fight. Is she as strong as the Alpha? Is she weak? They all wanted to see with their own eyes and gathered to experience it first hand. Their chants traveled far and filled the entire place. The announcer, one of the elders of the council calls up Maya and Eleanor to the stage. Maya fully kitted climbs up and onto the battle stage with her sword dangling on her waist. The people cheered and chanted her name. Those that hated her guts for challenging the Luna booed and screamed at her. Eleanor hasn't shown up and soon had the people murmuring amongst them. "Did the Luna run off?""She must be as weak as we heard…""How can the moon goddess punish us with a weak Luna? How then can she protect us?"Moments later, Arthur was seen striding towards the stag

WRITER'S POV"I apologize on behalf of the Luna for keeping you all waiting. It was only a minor issue which she has sorted and now she will put in place the ones that have dared to question her strength…"Eleanor watched, boiling inside of her as the two faced bitch bowed before the people and pleaded on her behalf looking as though she meant her words. "Only fools will believe her"She truly disgusted her. Arthur came to her, she imagined he had come to say his last words to her. "Don't give me the pity look. You always wanted me gone from your sight. But don't get too excited, I don't die that easily.""Why didn't you wait for me?" Dennis asked her, he looked sad. Eleanor's brain rewind and she remembered when she and Elisa hid from them. She wondered if he and Arthur had tried to hide her then? She shrugged out a sigh under her breath. "Well, whatever. That wouldn't matter anymore."She flashed him a smile. "Don't worry, I am not easy to beat."Saying that she climbed into t

WRITER'S POVArthur is left struck with shock as he watched Eleanor let out her wolf. It even shocked him more that Eleanor defeated Maya in her wolf form. "Just how…"He turned towards Dennis. The look in his face showed he was as surprised as him and then the chants of Eleanor from the people. No doubt they have fully accepted her as their Luna. "All these while, has she always been a werewolf? Just who exactly is she…"He was still trying to understand the whole thing when Eleanor collapsed and immediately morphed back to her human form. "Open the ring now!" He ordered and when the ring got opened he charged into the ring, pulled off his jacket and wrapped around her bare unconscious body. Then he lifted her into his arms and carried her away. "Call the physician and bring him in at once…" he ordered and carried Eleanor to her room where he laid her on the bed. He ordered the servants to properly have her clothed and waited for the physician to arrive. He felt her pulse and her

ARTHUR'S POV"You don't think any of this makes sense right?" I asked Jeremy as we both stood outside the meeting hall. The crowd had dispersed and the elders with wide smiles had congratulated me and praised me for having such a brilliant and powerful Luna. I just kept nodding and forcing smiles when necessary to them. Only if they knew how confused I was inside of me. "I am as confused as you are. Could it be because she is mated to you that she is able to have a wolf now?" Jeremy said. "How possible is that? What are the chances?"He shrugged. "Zero if you ask me."Dennis joined us. He looked as confused and speechless as Jeremy and I. "Did she tell you anything?" I asked him. "Nothing related to what we just witnessed. Erm, by any chance, have you laid with her?""What?!" I nearly choked on my saliva. "What do you mean? You don't suppose that could have a hand in her having a wolf all of a sudden?" I frowned. "Ah, you have laid with her…" he sounded disappointed. "You sound

ARTHURI drove back home after seeing Samantha. I wasn't certain of my feelings. My wolf left me to figure it all out myself. These days he seems to only make a movement in the presence of Eleanor. He must really hate me double as much as Eleanor does. All these while my wolf felt her wolf. I always wondered and thought it was strange but after what happened at the battle ground, it all made sense to me. Samantha confirmed to me it was only a coincidence that Jeremy had seen her and Maxwell and Maya together and there was nothing that went on between them. She denied knowing about Eleanor's true identity but had somehow felt a weird aura around her. As much as her words and her reactions seemed and sounded so believable, I wondered why I felt different. "Has she left her room since then?" I asked Eleanor's servant when I got back in. "No, my Alpha, she hasn't left her room since then. I wonder if she is alright."I must speak to Eleanor. Soon enough she will step out. I stuck arou

ELEANOR'S POVMy feet wobbled weakly and I lowered my body into a squat as I bursted into tears once I heard the door banged shut after he left. And for minutes I just stayed in that position, hands clutching my face and sobbed. More than ever I missed my mother at that moment. I missed my family. I missed the moment we dined together, I missed seeing father sitting in his favourite position in the house, I miss chasing Howard around the house when he steals my stickers and I miss having uncle Bob pet me. If only my mother was alive, I wouldn't be here in this damn place. I wondered how father, Uncle Bob and Howard was doing. Are they eating well? Have they moved on fine after I left? So many questions rang in my head. I missed them so much I wanted to run with the highest speed in me and get back to them but I couldn't bring myself to. I am now a werewolf. A full fledged one. The Luna of a pack and most importantly they risk being in danger with me. I still couldn't control my pow

WRITER'S POVEleanor was done getting dressed for her dinner with Arthur. She had for the umpteenth time checked herself out in the mirror that she feared her body would probably bore a hole on the mirror if she stood before it one more time. Her dress had been brought to her by one of the servants who specifically told her Arthur had picked the dress by himself for her.A smile lit up in her face as she pressed her palms softly on the dress in a carressing manner. They were so perfect and she couldn't have been more beautiful. She stopped as her head tilted and her forehead wrinkled. "Why am I so excited?" She felt her cheeks. They were easily pulling back into a smile ever since she began to prepare for the dinner. "Eleanor, what's wrong with you…girl, it's just dinner!""Because you like him…obviously." Her wolf said sweetly to her. "Like…him…? Do I like him?" She laughed in disbelief. But she went still seconds later as the words of her wolf replayed in her head. She blinked

ELEANOR'S POVNO, I am not sad. I am not ever going to be sad. I wasn't sad for any man while I was with humans, I can't possibly let myself brood over some werewolf. All I knew was that I found myself in the training ground minutes later. Whether I ran or I walked briskly or I flew, I just couldn't tell. I couldn't even remember how I managed to lift my heavy feets to walk out of there but in all I was grateful that I was able to walk out without making a scene or smashing things or even letting out my poor wolf. It was moments like that the poor thing always came out because I couldn't always control my anger. I could have found myself anywhere else. Probably my bedroom bawling my eyes out but how could I when I was born to be chased by men and not cry over them. My heart was aching. I was hurting. I was in pain. Have I expected too much? How could I have forgotten he lived for that bitch? He would do anything, pushing me down the cliff if need be for her sake. How could I have
