‘What do you mean by we?’ Levy was indeed amused by what Logan said, she was sent to prison and had to live a life that could be considered worse than hell and yet he very casually said those words, why will she care about the girl lying on the bed? It was because of her sister that she had to go through so much and yet he wanted her to toil herself for Lily? Was he in the right state of his mind or did he think she was too much of a holy maiden? No matter how much criticism she had, Levy kept them to herself before she further continued, “ When a person’s soul is disturbed there are two options one, either the soul gets shaken up pretty badly and that person dies anyway but seeing that she is just frozen in time then it means that two parts of her soul have escaped her body leaving the only stable part behind, that is the only reason she is still alive and not dead..” she kicked herself back on the chair and said, “ if you want to find the pieces of her soul look for things that are

When she stepped out of the bathroom Levy smelled the scent of a delicious cheesy delight, slightly surprised and hooked, she walked to the living room where Logan was sitting with a mega-size pizza on the kitchen counter, asking him for a bite was a bit humiliating but then the cheesy smell with meatballs wafted over to her nostrils and her stomach rumbled in frustration. These past seven years she has been living on nothing but stale bread and if luck favoured her she would once in a while get a piece of meat in the stew or something when she won the death marathon, it would be a surprise if her stomach didn’t protest against her when she was looking at such a big, hot and cheesy pizza. Levy gulped as she watched Logan pick up a slice of pizza and chomp half of it down, she knew that going there and asking for one slice would bring her nothing but humiliating taunts but she was hungry and her stomach was hooked. In the end, even if she wanted to stick to her pride and not give that

“ Elder Abbot?” Levy was sure that her heart jumped to her throat for a second but that was until she saw Elder Abbot standing behind her, heaving a sigh of relief she walked to the old man who was dressed in long sleeves Hawaiian shirt and baggy pants. “ You scared me, what are you doing here?” Elder Abbot simply smiled at her as he raised the box of chicken wings in his hands and said, “ I heard from the pack members that you were brought back by that stupid boy, so I went to see you but when I reached Logan’s lodge I heard a lot of squealing, so I understood that you weren’t there. I came looking for you here given that this was the only place where you used to hide as a child.” Levy blushed a little, though she wasn’t close to the other elders—— Elder Abbot was the weird one in the group, he didn’t prance around the pack acting all high and mighty just because he had the authority to banish anyone at anytime instead he was much more kind and treated everyone despite their distin

Levy didn’t say anything, she long learned how crazy shifters can be when they faced beings that were more powerful than them. Though she was a shifter as well, she was half witch that was why she didn’t think too much while talking shit about the shifters inwardly, Elder Abbot studied her before his lips rose in her a knowing smile and he said, “ You look like you are thinking something bad, aren’t you?” “ Am I that easy to read?” mused Levy as she took a bite of her pizza, that shouldn’t be the case though. She was pretty sure that she could hide her true emotions almost too perfectly after staying in the prison for so long. “ You are not, it's just that I am an old man with a lot of experience,” answered Elder Abbot before leaning back and fishing out a card from the front pocket of his shirt. “ Anyway, the reason, I came here was because … I wanted to hand this to you.” “ What is it?” She stretched her hand and picked the white card that had something written in italic bronze a

Dressed in an oversized light purple shirt with ripped jeans, Levy came out of the resting room. Leo seemed to be still going on and on about how they couldn’t afford to hire her but Kyle was clearly not having it, he smacked the aisle of the kitchen platform with his hand and calmly yet with an authority that was hard to miss said, “ I don’t need you to tell me that we don’t have the funds, the shelter is doing well and we can somehow manage to pull a few more sponsors if we work a bit hard, as for the restaurant … it's not that I am trying to complain to you but I don’t think fighting with every other customer without bowing down in the slightest is how you should be working. I understand that you are worried but this is not going to help us … Oh, you are here,” noticing her, Kyle stopped his diatribe and sweetly smiled at her, his light grey eyes crinkling as he did that. “ I have to say that you are looking good.” “ Yeah the clothes you chose for me were really good, they fit as
