“What about it?” Logan did not know why Derek brought the wizard association out of nowhere but he knew that the man wouldn’t have come here without a backup plan and sure enough a second later he heard him say, “ I heard a very fascinating thing a few days ago,” getting up from his seat, Derek straightened his jacket as he looked at Logan with an expression that could neither be counted as smug nor could it counted as amused. “ From what I heard you sent Levy straight to the frost gate prison without any concrete evidence, is that right?” His gaze wasn’t inquisition, it was certain and confident as he stared up at Logan before smilingly patting Logan on his shoulders. “ What if this small information ends up reaching the association? You might not know this but because of the increasing number of witch hunts and mage murders, the association is clearly very sensitive about any sort of injustice happening to a witch or wizard, in fact, they are even going around the city making round

“What are you doing here?” Jacob too noticed Levy standing outside the main building, he walked closer to her after climbing down the stairs completely ignoring Moira’s haughty scoff. He didn’t want to start anything with her again and especially not in front of Levy, he came to a stop in front of his sister feeling a pang of guilt when she raised her head and that webbed eye pierced right into his eyes. Levy too noticed the guilt that flashed in Jacob’s eyes, though she would have blasted him off for looking at her with that sympathetic gaze in the current situation Jacob’s guilt worked just fine for her in fact it would be nice if he could throw in a bit of pity as well. “ Why can’t I come to see you?” she asked while twisting a lock of her flaming red curls. “ I thought that you said that I can come and see you whenever I want to, didn’t know that I had to book an appointment to see my brother. If you are busy then I can leave——” she even turned around as if she was going to walk

“ What do you mean that it works too? How in the world does this work?” Leo returned with the tray and placed it on the kitchen aisle with a bang, his sharp eyes cut to Levy and he snapped in annoyance. “ We hired her to work here, not show a bunch of magic tricks! If she does the work like this then what are we paying her for?” Kyle raised his head and looked at Leo with exasperation, Levy too could understand why he was annoyed by Leo’s action. It was true that Levy was hired for working in the kitchen but neither of them said that she couldn’t use magic to finish her job and it wasn’t like she wasn’t doing a good job. The dishes were being cleaned faster than they would have been by hand, so there was no need to make things complicated.“ Leo, can you keep a reign on that straight lace attitude of yours?” questioned Kyle as he handed the newly plated dish to the other server and wiped his hands on the clean apron. “ What matters is that the work is getting done, there is no need f

When Levy stepped out of the break room and headed towards the main dining room, she walked past a couple of servers, their gaze darted to her almost sympathetically and that was enough to make her understand just how much of an annoyance that man was. She pursed her lips and shot them a light smile before walking out of the corridor and heading straight to Kyle. He was talking to the man in front of him, his face a mirror of annoyance..something about the ever-patient Kyle getting angry made Levy’s lips twitch. She never thought that someone could push Kyle’s button like this. Suppressing the curl of her lips, Levy walked next to Kyle before turning her head to the politely smiling gentleman. He was still smiling innocently as if whatever was happening at this moment had nothing to do with him, Levy arched a brow not wanting to get further entangled with the man in front of her. He was handsome, probably even more handsome than most men she has seen in her life as a free bird but so

“ Crazy, he is simply crazy.” That was what Levy’s first thought was, she couldn’t believe it. That man actually used a tracing spell, all because he hoped that the bouquet he handed her wouldn’t be thrown away. Tracing as the name suggested meant ‘following’, witches and mages only used this spell in scenarios when they needed it because the spell was difficult to cast and the magic power that it consumed wasn’t small either. Levy had tried to use this spell for finding the culprit behind Mavis's disappearance. However, the person was hidden too well, every time she used this spell to look for the culprit but she has been blocked, maybe a counterspell or something similar of the sort. No matter how many times she used her powers, no matter how many different spells she used to trace the steps of the culprit, she always met a dead end together to fatigue. The mana consumption was too huge and Levy stopped using the spell after a short while because she wanted to save her energy for
