บททั้งหมดของ The Alpha's lantern mate: บทที่ 71 - บทที่ 77

Scarlett I stood amidst the gathered pack members, my heart pounding loudly in my chest. I had known that attending this ceremony would be a test of my strength, but nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to witness. The atmosphere was charged with tension as Samuel, the power-hungry bastard held my mother captive once again. My mother, the Lycan Queen, was bound and gagged, her eyes filled with a mixture of fear and defiance. Samuel's grip on her was unyielding, and his sinister smile sent shivers down my spine. I still couldn’t comprehend how this happened when all of my people had accepted me as their Queen and pledged their loyalty to me. There must be a snitch who informed him about my mother being here or there was no way that he could find her here. My eyes searched for the culprit who dared to betray me but shock was written all over Damon and Jasper’s faces. They couldn’t betray me when they loathed Samuel, too. “Did you really think that I would trust you?

Scarlett“Why didn’t she tell me this earlier?” I whispered after hearing from Amber that my mother didn’t have much time left after healing my mate. Mom isn’t doing well, she had a stroke when I challenged Alex to the duel and none of them thought of telling this earlier. Asher has told me now that she is out of danger but I have to see her for myself,” he told me, rubbing his temples as he tried to calm himself down.Placing my head on his shoulder, I held his waist and we walked together to my bed. “We will leave together for our pack, Klaus.”“You’re meeting your family after so long, babe. I can’t take you with me. I will come back to take you with me,” he said with a smile on his face.“No. I can’t stay away from you anymore now,” I pouted. “They can come with us and live at Rachel’s for a while. I’m sure that they would love to come with us.”“As you say, my love,” he kissed my forehead, pulling me closer to his chest and sleeping on the
