Chapter 30
“Yes, look how scared I am.” I raised an eyebrow in his direction, too happy to care.         “Sienna?” he asked suddenly, worried. “What happened to your wound?”         I looked in the direction of my waist, trying to verify that it had not been all a dream. Nope, there was no claw mark there. It was better than ever, actually.         “Did they disappear?” I stuck out my tongue at him.         I felt a sudden urge and didn’t want to hold back. With one look, Hunter understood what I wanted and even though he didn’t seem to agree very much, he got into position.         “On your marks!” I started, smiling at the adrenaline rush I felt. “Ready? Out of!”

Chapter 31
Hunter Now I had her asleep in my arms. So soft, so peaceful. It was my favorite moment of the day, as stalking as it might sound. When Sienna was asleep, she exuded peace and tranquility. She was always so full of energy. But right now, she was only sleeping safely, knowing that I was here to take care of her.    I always liked sleeping with her. Even though she was a kid who didn’t know anything about life. I couldn’t even remember exactly the first time it had happened, she had just felt natural.    Her body was warm and I could feel the strength and softness of her, that combination that drove me crazy. Sienna was beautiful, her body could give me a heart attack, but what really stole my heart was seeing her snuggle up next to me, purring under her breath.

Chapter 32
When I woke up, Hunter was sleeping next to me. Watching a werewolf sleep was a compliment, as they generally didn’t need to sleep more than a few hours a day and were never supposed to let their guard down. However, Hunter was a lover of naps, especially with me by his side.    I had to get ready to go to school, but I wanted to enjoy being in Hunter’s arms a little more. I felt so comfortable with a peace that I rarely enjoyed.    I felt him stir, knowing that time was beginning to pass and that we had to get ready to go to school. The day that was coming upon us seemed to be much more eventful than usual.    Today I will have a serious conversation with my great friend. Maybe I even had to reveal what I am and what her new love interest was. It wouldn’t be easy, but I tru

Chapter 33
“Sienna! Are you ready to go to the ins…” Leonel interrupted the moment, entering my room.    I yelped in surprise. I got off Hunter’s lap with great speed, covering my breasts. Hunter tried to cover me with his body, but something told me it was too late.    God, this happened to me by giving in to the fever.    And I forgot to latch the door.    “I …” he stammered, flushed. “Sorry, I’ll wait for you downstairs.”    Hunter turned to see me, surprised and flushed. When we looked at each other, we let out a great laugh. Only to us could this happen. Although I was embarrassed, I couldn’t help but laugh heartily. I felt mys

Chapter 34
I had heard once, a long time ago, that certain warlocks could teleport. I never believed that it was true because they said that I needed to be very strong to be able to do it. They said that it was almost impossible, that, since existence, only three witches had managed to do it. One of them was even part of a legend.    I remembered my grandfather, explaining to us with much love and patience all the benefits of magic. I also remembered not being overly interested, but Leonel looked fascinated, so I endured the lesson reluctantly.    However, Yule teleported us without hesitation. He didn’t even gasp. He didn’t look sweaty or pale. In fact, he seemed very nonchalant. As if it were the most natural act in the world.    In a second I was in high school. Then I could only feel the darkness arou

Calm down, wolf. It’s not the moment yet. I promise that I will let you play with him all you want.    “There are people who believe that rituals should be done at midnight, but I’m not that gullible. That wolf of yours must be looking for me to begin with.” He began to move some things.    The distance between Primrose and me was about thirty feet, not that far, but not that close either. The witcher was doing something right in the middle of us. He could make out the chalk. I did not understand the drawings he made, but I knew that time was running out. I tried to memorise the shapes and every trace I saw. I absorbed all the information I could. In the dark, what was most visible was his pale skin, along with his white hair.    How could someone who could wear white in every part

Chapter 36
Would my plan work or would I just make a fool of myself? My first battle was against someone with more strength than I had believed.    Dark magic had taken over his body. His eyes turned black, as did the tips of his fingers. He glared at me, for he knew his plans had just been ruined. He moved things just by thinking about it, from boxes, stones, chains and a chair. He couldn’t stop me, if I hesitated, if I stopped dodging, I’d be lost.    “This is fun, Estrella!” he screamed. The chain that made so many turns in the air, began to catch fire from his magic.    If that chain came to me again, it would be my end. Black fire looked much scarier than normal fire. If any of that touched me, I’d be in trouble. What could I do? I was so scared while avoiding everythi

Chapter 37
“Leonel?” I called, hugging Hunter back. “Someone tends to his wounds.”    The blood from his hands was starting to fall on the ground and the smell was making me dizzy. Or was it the smell of my own blood?    “You’re hurt too,” he pointed out, beginning to heal him with his magic.    Hunter gave me a squeeze on the shoulder, as if trying to get my attention.    “I’m here.” I stroked his head, feeling the softness of his hair.    “You disappeared without warning. Leonel couldn’t track you down.”    “He was a very dangerous guy,&rdquo

Chapter 38
“This is the first time I’ve ever really fought someone,” I commented with a faint smile. “I did not think thoroughly before attacking him. At the time of attacking him in the parking lot, did others notice?”         “The wolves that were nearby, yes. Miguel and Izaiah must still be looking around for you,” he said, still serious. “The humans who were nearby did not notice anything.”         “When I appeared there, in that cold basement, I was afraid. I don’t have any idea how to get out of there.”         “How did you do it, Sienna?”         “I don’t know,” I admitted. “I once heard that teleportations weren’t possible, that only three people had made it. And to my knowledge, none of them managed to take anyone with them.”

Chapter 39
I knew my sister was alive somewhere. I could feel it in my bones. Even when I was sixteen and had my first contact with Roscoe. He confirmed to me that Sienna was still alive, but that her essence had completely changed.    “Leave it alone,” my uncle said after he arrived exhausted from another long search. “Yes, she may be alive, but just drop it, Leonel. It is possible that she has a life already made. Do you want to find it and destabilise everything?”     Leonel.    “She’s my sister,” I replied, tired of having the same argument over and over again. “I’m not going to give up.”    “You’re hurting yourself.” He shook his head. “Many ye
