Trapped with the Alpha Lord のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 71 - チャプター 80

MAX POVNone of them would follow after me, maybe they felt what had been brewing inside me from what I had done but unlike me, they wouldn’t sheathe the disgusted feeling and put up a strong farce to hide all that emotion.“Didn’t I just asked for you to come along Zayne, why are you staring?” I tried to instruct all of them to get moving from their standstill positions. “Mark, get rid of it.” They wouldn’t even budge. It was as if they were stuck in a tranced loop that that they would snap out of unless given the right motivation.“Bang!” I finally found the right motivation and it was loaded then shot out of. “I said get on with it!” I shouted to their sluggish alertness. “Max, what happened to you? Why are you?” I knew she was feeling pain to have been seeing me like this, I just hoed that she wouldn’t see through to the flood of tears that I retained in my eyes. She came to face my view as she then wrapped my arms around her waist and used her whole body to cover mine with a h

MAX POV“Lock the door behind you!” I couldn’t let her be so soon, I was still a wreck loose around her and I felt it so endearing that I didn’t know how to handle it.As I entered the driver’s seat, disregarding the fact that belts existed and switching the gear so fast to drive, I made to address the ‘she’ that would rather be bent on staying my wife even if it were to act as my hostage, against her will to that suggested she would forever be with me no matter what.I couldn’t further my dismissing of her plight to catch her son’s actual killer, mostly because my men at this point dictated how I operate plainly with their glares.Although, it could’ve also been just some pitiful excuse within myself to convince my mind and console it from the grave losses that I had to incur from my unwillingness and with my tongue.“Where is the place, you?!” I also had, the werewolf that seemed to have been their leader’s lackey, dragged into the car with us, unto the middle of the seat, held down

MAX POV“You guys sure talk a lot, you know right?” The werewolf said as he finally rose from the dormant role he played in the event that had just been ensued. Atop the emotions that flared in that single moment of my letting Rose out of the car for disregarding my direct instruction, he wouldn’t even give a word and only managed to come out from his maintained, unaverted gaze from the road’s view that seemingly filled his mind’s scape. At least that was how it seemed from the rear-view mirror that I since used to avoid any eye contact with Ashina.Only May now sat and stood guard beside the werewolf but he seemingly now held even more lax since the only person that led enough motive for him to feel threatened was gone. I had my eyes on his movements and they were a lot freer than when she had him hanging out the windowOf course, Zayne still faced a gun towards his groin so that too contributed to his motivation to stay still and not attempt anything.“Is your eye alright to still

ROSE POV I entered the back seat of the car as Mark sat in the passenger’s seat and ordered the werewolf at the steering wheel to drive.“What happened to her Mark? Tell me” I tried to pry at what he obviously held struggling emotional urge on whether or not to tell me.“I’ll tell you when we get to where we are meant to see her.” He wouldn’t give in, even after peaking my curiosities to this extent.I wanted to be the one that would get to break the news of her Jason’s death to her, even though I hadn’t even come to terms with it, I could do her the honour of having to be there for her like Kyle wouldn’t even allow me for him.The singular thought of having to explain to someone of her age that her grandson was dead, held me on a knife’s edge.I unintendedly guilt tripped Mark into pointing me towards a direction where he would tell the truth that he continued to persistently keep from me, at least that was what I read from it “What were the things that Jason and his grandmother di

MAX POVI couldn’t quite understand why he thanked me in the first place but I felt a spark of compassion resonate from within me as I opened the car door and made my way in through it.“What’d he say Max?” Zayne had long entered the car and wasn’t even there to hear what little the werewolf had left to say to me.“Some shit about why his boss did it in the first place. I couldn’t stand it so I left.” I had to lie so that I wouldn’t be forced to narrate the uncanny pity that I held deep down in my heart for someone that I just almost finished cutting off his arm.I dressed myself atop the driver’s seat. After I had settled in, I made for a better position which would allow for the most amount of thinking that I had conditioned my mind to get set for.“Zayne, do you think I’ve been doing too much up till this point in trying to get revenge for Jason?” I tried to see if he would answer me with the usual honesty that he had always shown me.“You … haven’t done anything … wrong Max.
