Chilli POV A tingerling sensation, makes my nerve endings wake up and come alive, way before I do, as I purr, still semy asleep as Elias pulls me close and into his arms. I snuggle in deeper to him under the duvet, purring in my limbo state of sleep, not quite awake but not completely asleep either. Until that is my phone deeps repeatedly at me, alerting me to messages, texts. Groaning as I reach for it, unwanting to open my eyes as my hand paws at the side table, blindly searching. Elias growls softly in my ear at my movement to retrieve my phone. Finally having it in hand, the screen lights up as I turn it towards me, the brightness hurting my unadjusted, tired eyes. Elias POV "CHILLI!" Panic engulfs my mind, body and voice, for the first time I'm glad and thankful Chilli isn't pregnant, because that fall would have ended it all. Feeling her pain and uncomfortableness through the bond, fear intertwines with my panic, as I shake those thoughts from my head. As I go to rush to my mates side I am stopped by father falling into my back, knocking me to the ground. Pulling my face from the dirt and looking up, I see Maria's grubby wolf in a stand off with my wife, who's now in a crouched position. Chilli POV Taking a deep breath, inhaling the fresh air and the sweet smell of the flowers growing and blooming nearby. I lean back against the warm body of Elias, tangling my toes in amongst the beautiful, cold, green grass as we soak up the spring sun, shining down and the love flowing all around us. Mmmm, the word heaven comes to mind. Nothing could be better in this perfect moment of just being still and happily content with my mate, as time peacefully ticks by slowly.I purr, like a tabby cat, basking in a patch of sunlight when a warm, wet feeling trickles along the skin of my legs and bum. Elias unlocks the front door and drops the bags to switch on a light to behold a spacious, open plan, living area with a magnificent open fireplace, all setup and ready to be lit. There are fresh flowers on the kitchen counter, lilies, my favourite. "Oo, fire?" Elias suggests, picking up our bags I nod,"Okay, I'll go quickly unpack," heading for what I'm guessing is the bedrooms. For an alpha's holiday home, it's a modest size as I discover there's only one bedroom with an ensuite the size of a second. As I enter the sleeping quarters my jaw falls open at the site of the biggest bed I've ever seen, it must be a super king. Wow. We didn't bring a lot, so it takes me no time to unpack our clothes and drop our bags under the bed. Only our toiletries now, as I go through to the ensuite and inspect it more closely, I notice the waterfall shower head, larger than I thought you could ever get and a bathtub with ... is that jets? Can't wait to use the bath or shower for that fact.
