Zara gasped in disbelief and her eyes widen in shock. So her intuition of Zane poisoning the food was right, but how did he manage to do it? she wondered how her son was able to pull such a stunt. Zara felt restless as she shuffled back to the banquet hall. She tried to fathom why the Neela king was so interested in knowing whether she loved her late husband, however, she couldn't wrap her head around it, so she settled that King Luther had probably sent him. After all, he was in a friendly relationship with him. Zara couldn't take the risk of King Luther finding out that she was very much in love with her late husband. After what felt like ages, Carl decides to step back into his chamber, however, he was met with a surprise. He saw a little figure on his bed, sound asleep. To say he was stunned was an understatement. Carl didn't know how to react he was utterly confused. 'Who is the child and how did he get in, when I locked the door,' Carl mulled, taking slow strides toward the bed.As the little boy's back was turned to him, he couldn't see his face, until he went to the other side of the bed.Zane!
