“IF only you know how much I wanted to kill you.” Cath whispers to herself and protests in anger while pounding the meat like brutally killing it into the grounds with her hands. “You want to eat my original recipe? Then, I will let you eat the most delicious meal that you ever tasted before.”Now laughing like a villain in any movie with the dark ulterior motive at hand. Everyone from the nutrition department and the cook from the station kitchen is looking worried and puzzled towards her. “This image right here is what I call a sparkling love.”Olive giggles. Forming with her thumb and pointer fingers a photo frame while looking at Cath with her other eyes closed. Deep with her fantasy, she doesn’t run away from how Lindsey is shipping Cath and Sam. “More like a death sentence.”Carol says otherwise and immediately pulled Olive back to work. “Now, for the perfect sauce.”With a proud smile, Cath is acting like a professional chef in that instant. Feeding her anger by proving to

“DONE?” Cath asks sarcastically while staring at Sam, with her irritated expression. “Almost.”Sam replied in a seductive way that any noodle commercial with a hunk and handsome endorser would play. “You are enjoying this, aren’t you?” Glaring back at Cath’s deliberate intention of doing the same thing that Sam is doing as a game. That’s turning this little charade into a test of seducing endurance. “You have no idea.”Now with their eyes unto each other and close enough for a kiss. Cath couldn’t help but trace Sam’s facial features with her eyes. Reminding her of the past and how those eyes of his made her trip and fall deep for him. “You still have these pump cheeks just like in the past.”But then, Sam unknowingly ruins the moment. Noticing that one feature of Cath’s face that she hated. Sam’s teasing and pinching of her cheeks irritated Cath. “Stop!”Screaming in anger that immediately stops Sam and turns the supposed be going smooth moment into ruins.“You never change, an

“EVERY day I love you more. I’ll do anything to prove to you my worth. I am not the same stupid guy. Just one word, that confirmation. Can I have a chance for your heart?”The question that Cath had been running away from and evading for a long. The confession fills the place with cheers. “Can I have a chance for your heart?”Sam asks her once more which made everyone around them chant. “Say yes, say yes, say yes.” Talk about putting pressure on her. Cath remains silent while staring at Sam that in that same moment knew that she isn’t ready to answer him. “I can wait, no matter how long would it takes.”Everyone erupted with cheers, thinking that they got in the same agreement. But no one knew that it is still a maybe and even worse a no for Sam. “Alright! Let’s turn the music up!”The club’s DJ breaks the moment and put on his mix that made the crowd wild and back before Sam took the stage. “Cath.”“The staff in the nutrition department are all at the seventh table. It will be

SULKING in bed and have been thinking all night about what happened. Cath is torn between giving up the assignment or continuing. “I can’t do this.”She murmurs. Locking herself since last night and not even talking to anyone made her younger brother worried and even rush home to talk to her. Lying a bit only convinces her younger brother but not the rest of her family. She forgot the time until her phone rings its alarm. “The twins!”She hurried out of bed in a panic. That thought that the confrontation from last night will still be an awkward moment between the two of them Sam. She couldn’t let the twins down especially since the twins are comfortable with her and vice versa.“Oh My!”She almost screams upon looking at the mirror and finding her reflection to be like a living dead after having a sleepless night from thinking of what just happened. “Fix yourself Cath! You cannot be this weak and not this time.”Once more scolding herself and was reminded of the facts and reality t

“SINCE you are holding that guitar with you. Then make me.”A dare that Sam couldn’t back away from nor say no to. “Prepare yourself to swoon.”Sam’s smile with those eyes of his made Cath’s heart skip a beat and turns her ears a blushing pink. But before it could get any worse, she immediately snaps out of it, held her poker face upfront, and accepted the challenge. “Alright!”Monique cheers giving Sam along with Cole a high five and immediately rush to Lindsey and Brian’s side who are standing not that far away from them. “I’m not owning this song. I modify it a bit, but I hope that you will get the message.”Sam’s introduction before strumming the guitar made Cath giggle upon realizing that it is one of the most popular songs back during their freshmen years in high school. “I’m good at creating time.”“I don’t think so.”Cath protested and immediately looked at the twins that caught Sam’s attention, yet continues playing his guitar and answering Cath’s little protest. “Okay,
