JANNET’S POVOnce we stepped out of the train station, I followed Sky to a secluded tunnel in the village that was dark and as shady as it could get. It would have been the perfect spot for plotting a crime. My eyes fell on the delinquents who were sitting on one side of the tunnel, blowing a joint or maybe a cigarette. They all looked in our direction and my face turned a little pale when I saw how scary they looked. One of them had electric blue hair that was spiked up and another one had tattoos inked on his entire face and bald head.“Hey! You can’t pass from here.” the blue spike delinquent said and I gulped the lump in my throat.Sky did not say anything and looked past his shoulder, “Follow me.” he said and the way he looked, I knew he was not joking. I wish he joked right now because my legs felt frozen at the spot.I watched his broad back move forward until the delinquents stopped his way. The blue spike hair seemed to be their gang leader and he was the one standing face-to-

JANNET’S POV“What was that?” I asked, my voice breathier and Sky stiffened at his spot.“Its the spirits of the Hollow Hills. The dead.” he said and my blood ran cold in fear.As said, I black smoke shaped into small bodies flow towards us. There were five of them and they made a crying sound, as if in huge pain. Sky gritted his teeth as they floated in front of the temple doors.“Fuck!” he cursed and I tried to think of some way to get out of this.Sky turned around and started to run in the opposite direction. “Is there a way to get rid of these?” I asked as he carried me with him.“No, the ghosts are not powerful, but they can obstruct us from moving forward. They want to posses our bodies to live once again. They won’t stop until they posses one of us.” he explained and I pursed my lips.Posses one of us…“Let me distract them then,” I said and he looked at me in shock.“What? No!”I pleaded, “There is no other way. They won’t let us get out of the temple without possessing one o

I walked over to the bed, taking each step carefully. Sky leaned against the wall with a nonchalant look, but Dominic did not look fine. His eyes were blazing red and he lunged on me the moment I was at the edge of the bed.I yelped and had no time to turn away as he pulled me by the waist and placed me on the bed. His lips descended on mine and I felt his tongue tasting my mouth. I moaned under the spell of his kiss.“Bleh, gross. Get a room.” Sky said and Dominic broke the kiss. He looked past his shoulder.“This is my room. Now get out.” he said and Sky shrugged. He held Jannet’s hand and she waved at me with a smile before stepping out of the room. The doors closed behind them automatically and I looked back at him.He was staring down with the intensity that made my cheeks turn red every single time. I traced his chiseled jawline with my fingers, “How do you feel now?” my voice was a soft whisper and he buried his face on the crook of my neck.“Turned on by you,” he said in his h

Dominic’s eyes turned red and Aisel raised his finger, “I am here to talk. That’s all.” he gave us a Cheshire-cat grin. Even though the man looked quite old and harmless, I could feel warning signs ringing inside my head from his presence.“You better don’t try anything or I will rip you into shreds,” Dominic growled and I could hear Asphalt’s voice mixed into his. Was Asphalt alarmed by this man too?Aisel’s smile did not falter, “As I mentioned earlier, I am just here to talk.”“Why did you kill Dante?” I asked and he turned towards me. He was the only chance I had in learning witchcraft. Malphus was a good help, but not enough to fight uncalled situations like these.“I believe you know the answer already, my lady,” he said and my brows shot up.My lady?He placed his hand inside his suit and pulled out a handkerchief. He dabbed his face with it, “You see, I am just a simple butler, running all the errands for my Master.”Dominic narrowed his eyes into slits, “Who the fuck is that?”

SKYLAR’S POVThe thing was, when I put my thumb on someone’s neck…wait, was Carlo Winters going to win this night’s Wolf’s Got Talent? I hope he did. The farting with his mouth trick was dope.Mathews whimpered below me as I broke the barrier that protected him from my power and just one flimsy layer was left to peel off when black smoke appeared out of nowhere. It looked like a portal of sorts and before I could do something, I was pushed to the other side by some invisible force which made me crash against a mirror.Who kept mirrors on the corridors?! Damn Dominic and his bad choices regarding interior design!I felt a sharp pain on the left side of my waist and fresh red blood painted my hands when I touched the portion. My jaw clenched and Silver was ready to take over when I saw Mathew’s body being pulled towards the smoky portal like a black hole, until his body completely disappeared behind the portal. What on French fries was that?!The smoke in the portal spread around and en
