Semua Bab Destined to the Alpha King (Selena's plight): Bab 211 - Bab 220

"That's when you should believe you are looking like a goddess emerging from the sea" Lucius said. She couldn't reply to him because the guards at the door opened the big door of the hall and everything came to their view. "Shall we my Queen" Lucius gave her his arm. She was more nervous than before. She held his arm with both hands and they walked in like royal majesties. Many gasps flew around in the room as they walked in. All attention was on them. At first they didn't know who the female beside the royal Beta was until one recognised her and the others saw it was true too. The males were too stunned at how Selena was transformed in the dress, while the females were so jealous at how she was drawing attention to herself. "She's nothing but a slut. Moving from the Alpha King to his Beta" one female said. " Yes. I don't even see what is special in her except for the expensive dress she wore" another hissed. In a few seconds hateful comments were flying all over the rooms for h

Seeing that she didn't want them to Interfere, they gave up and decided to make her enjoy the day. They told her things that happened at the office when she wasn't around. This made Selena forget about her pain partially and she laughed with them. Andrea was looking at them. She hated this woman to be happy. She had thought she succeeded in making the lycans hate her because she heard them talking about how disappointed they were in her. But she didn't know why they were all over her now. She wondered what changed their thoughts about her. She then stupidly thought that it was because of how beautiful she was looking in that dress. Andrea couldn't stop thinking of how she could afford such an expensive dress. Aside from her being a professional nurse, she also has a good sense of fashion. She knew how a cloth would cost just by looking at it and the cloth Selena was putting on, would definitely cost hundreds of thousands. How could she afford it? Then she remembered that she was Lu

Her eyes darkened as if she had some demon spirit in her. She was glaring hard at Selena. At first Selena's heart skipped and she was scared that a female could have such dangerous eyes but then Pride encouraged her not to be afraid. "Well, it seems for you two to threaten the worthless one, you are afraid of what the worthless one can do to you. I could see through your weakness" she said in mockery before she could help herself. That was Pride's fault. She had made her say those words. She scolded her for being in more trouble. The two glared at her when they knew she already saw through them. They were indeed afraid of what her innocence could do. "How dare you talk to me like that!" Andrea growled in a low tone at her boldness. She would have attacked her if they were alone but then she was trying to keep her cool so that people won't blame her for causing trouble. Selena rolled her eyes. Then suddenly, both Andrea and Hyrene stretched the wine glass in their hands and wanted

Dylan, when Andrea left, he also left the party and let others continue. Hyrene didn't even stay a second especially when the husband she went to didn't even do as if he saw her. Everyone at the party was still confused at what happened. Many were in favour of Hyrene and Andrea because they don't like Selena but then they also knew that it would be wrong to blame Selena knowing she wasn't the one holding the wine glasses. They kept on arguing among themselves. Farell too was at the party but he couldn't go meet his sister because he had to stay beside his Alpha. He was really glad that Selena didn't allow them to bully her and their plan had turned to their head. But then when Dylan cried, he was shocked. He didn't know it was up to the Alpha King crying. So this made him fear for his sister. When Selena left, he quickly excused himself to go make sure she wasn't attacked. Then he saw Dan. He had doubts at first until Dan told him that it was the royal Beta that asked him to protect

The food Selena was eating became bitter in her mouth. She didn't even know what to say. His voice sounded like he blamed her for everything. Well she was ready to take the blame, so far she would be forgiven by him. She swallowed the food in her mouth with difficulty, then she summoned courage and looked at him. He wasn't even looking at her, he was so concentrated on the food. "For the two. I didn't mean to hurt your woman. It's just something I can't avoid" she said with a bitter bile in her throat. Dylan turned to her. His plain face was still there. "I don't get you. Slicing her face with your claws is unavoidable or pouring the wine on her face is unavoidable. You have to be a clear girl, '' he said blankly. She sighed. She knew she had started it and she had to end it but it was still painful to accept the lie against her. "I don't know how I can explain your Highness but just forgive me. I didn't mean it" she pleaded. This man was the only man that had treated her right.
