Spencer is released from the hospital after two days, with Amory taking it upon herself to play the part of a devoted wife and cater to his nonsense as he recovers. I take advantage of the situation too, since Spencer is confined to the couch in the living room at night, I climb into bed with Amory! Amory uses the time we are stuck upstate to actually get shit done. Amazing what she accomplished in two weeks! First, she actually gets Spencer to agree to her contract terms. Then she gets a health plan for his employees and gets everyone enrolled. From there, she moves on to getting all of the residents of the apartment complex on leases. She hires a landscaper to maintain the housing complex and two houses, interviews mechanics, and staffing for the laundromat. Amory even manages to get all of the documentation recorded for Motor Hart’s and Custom Hart’s, as well as the apartment complex. She goes through each document of every box one by one. Amory enters each documen

I wake up when what feels like a warm tongue is licking from my neck to my lips, and ends with a soft peck. I open my eyes as I release a moan, Amory is trying to stifle her laughter. I pull her down on top of me but she brings her finger to her lips urging me to be quiet. I finally look around the room to see we are still in the lake house living room with everyone asleep around us. Amory climbs off of me and pulls me to follow her off the sofa. We walk quietly out of the front door before she tosses my car keys to me. Obviously, she has something planned, she’s never up this early in the morning! She has me drive a short distance down the road before pulling back off of it, and onto a dirt path that leads down to the waterfront where I park. When she gets out of the car, she starts stripping down before climbing into the water in her underwear. Once she resurfaces I look at her confused, “what are you doing, mi Amor” (mi love)? “Waiting for you to come ravish m

This morning I hear Amory vomiting from her bathroom since her bedroom door has been left open. She’s due to appear in court today and her anxiety is simply sweltering over. As if Stephany can sense her mother’s tension, she clings to me like a leech unless in her car seat. She won’t even allow her mother to carry her, clearly, she is still my princess even with Spencer in her life! Rich and I leave our guns in my car before we walk into the same courthouse as the last time. Amory looks pale, and she is visibly shaken as her case is called forward. We’re all directed to the plaintiff's stand as Spencer is directed to the defendant's stand. Neither one of them has looked at each other since we’ve left the lake house! When the judge walks to the bench she says, “Ms. Williams, nice to finally meet you! Please explain to me what on Earth is going on here and why this divorce case now has a paternity request attached to it”. Amory inhales sharply then says, “yes, your

Amory’s period is a day late and the funny shit is she doesn’t even notice, and if she does she’s keeping it to herself. However, she does emphasize to me how tired she feels, so on Friday night when she wants to go down to the club I’m surprised. I know better than to tell her no though, but I do convince her to wear shoes with a smaller heel. Melanie sits with Stephany like she used to, while Amory and I head down to the club and right on to the dance floor. The staff move around us and clearly are working to impress her during this surprise drop-in, but she’s only here to have fun! Some of the regular patrons who have noticed our absence from the club approach us, particularly those who attend the karaoke nights. That crazed woman who used to try feeling up on me all of the time is here too, but she keeps her distance. Likely since Amory clings to my chest while in my arms, or maybe because we’ve openly made out on the dance floor tonight, or it could be the picture of us kissing on

I wake up in the bed of my Brooklyn apartment wrapped in Jonny’s arms, and if we weren’t both completely naked I’d almost be inclined to believe that the last few months of my life were just some really bad dream. I called Spin last night and plead with him for space, and after promising to return to the lake house by Saturday he reluctantly agreed. I feel sick, although I don’t admit this to Jonny. Instead, I emphasize that my feet hurt, my back hurts, my boobs hurt, my butt even hurts, and I’m just tired beyond exhaustion. He does what he can to comfort me, but I know the stress of my situation is starting to become daunting to all of us involved. I’m bored to death with Jonny’s constant babying of me and when I suggest going down to the club for our last night here in Brooklyn, he agrees yet straight up tries to dress me! Eventually, I get my way, however, I do swap the shoe suggestion for the shorter wedged heels he chose from the stilettos I originally picked. Jo
