RED STRING のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

QUEST A WEEK HAD passed and Lucien has fully recovered from his injuries. And true to his words he did keep his promise that he'll make it up to me even if it's not really necessary. He took me to Berkhann City along with Clarrise and Markus.Clarrise and the triplets grew up in Berkhann City. Lucien said that Clarrise had their ancestral house renovated, and she is planning to stay there once she sorts everything. She's planning to continue her study in medicine as well.Berkhann City is also the largest city in Preousia. The Council House is also located in the city. We visited Clarrise's school and I was amazed at how big it was. I felt an inch of sadness because I miss learning. If only our town did not suffer from that tragedy, I still would have finished studying. But then, it is all in the past now. I am still happy for I was able to make it this far. After a week of staying in the city, we went home but Lucien did not come with us. He said his business with the Elders is stil

THE DANGER IT'S ALREADY DAWN and we're here at the East gate waiting for our carriage. I told Ayla that I'm still sleepy but Ayla feels the opposite. Did she even sleep? Shortly, Nereza and Clarrise called our names, informing us that the carriage have already arrived. Ayla, Clarrise, and I are inside the carriage while Nereza is seated beside the Scout who will take us to Taewe. "Who's the Scout?" I asked Clarrise. "His name is Jacob. He is the second in command of the Scouts. Nereza said he's good in directions and he's also good at fighting. He will help us reach Taewe," Clarrise answered. "Do you think he won't say a word to the Alpha?" Ayla asked. "I don't think he will tell a soul. Nereza said she had it under control. Let's trust her." Two days. It will take us two days to reach the mountain. I hope that no harm will fall upon us on our way. High Priestess of Preousia, please guide us on our way to Taewe. After my silent prayer, I fell asleep on Ayla's shoulder. I w

TAEWE THE MAN MOCKINGLY laughed at Jacob. "You think I'm afraid of you... werewolf! Tsk. Tsk. I may be a normal being but I'm dangerous too. Men!" he yelled. On cue, men came out from the mist grinning from ear to ear. They're just normal beings but I can see the danger in their eyes. Who are these men? Are they rebels? "Let. Them. Go. Or I will rip you in half... human," Jacob said with a threat. The man, once again, laughs at us, including his comrades. "As I said, I am not afraid of you," he mocked, "And look!" he exclaimed as he points at something behind us. Worried flooded us when we realized that Nereza and Ayla are now both unconscious. "This woman is not affected with powdered wolfsbane. We gave her a sleeping powder instead," a man said while pointing his finger at Ayla. Ayla is a normal being that's why she isn't affected by wolfsbane. "What do you want from us?! If you want gold coins and jewelry, we don't have them!" I told them half-yelling. "Hmmm, we actua

SOTÌRAS TREE TAEWE IS A small village with paths made of pebbles. The place looks serene but the various plants make the surroundings lively. The people live in small houses made of logs. Tall trees also surround the area and I even saw a pond with a sculpture of a woman in the middle, wearing a chiton dress. Who is she? We keep on walking around the village, searching for Elphina. As we wander around, we noticed the puzzled looked of the people while some are giving Atticus and Draven sharp eyes. We asked questions to the people about Elphina's whereabouts but we didn't get any luck. It looks like they're protecting her. They must have thought we were here to cause a disturbance. Then suddenly a girl about ten years old came running to us. She handed me a single piece of paper with words written on it. -The wooden house near the cliff. After reading it we didn't waste any seconds. We reached the cliff and found the said house. Nereza was about to knock but the door suddenly o

MAD    LUCIEN... HE'S HERE. I thought I won't be seeing him until later. I was about to open my mouth to greet him but I halted when I realized how dark and cold his expression is. Have I done something wrong?"Logan, I want you and your brothers in the Eastern borders. You go with the Scouts," he ordered coldly. After Lucien said those he took his leave without even looking at me. I felt a sudden pain in my chest because of his sudden indifference. "Bambina, are you okay?" Landon asked with concern.I felt something on my lump and I was afraid my voice might falter if I speak. I faced Logan and answered him with a small smile instead. Shortly after calming, I excused myself. I went straight to the quarters to have an early break. What happened a while ago somehow made me feel weak. Upon entering our house, I caught Ayla doing s
