Chapter 11

9 days, since the day of our vaghdaan, have successfully passed and fear started to fill me up, but more than anything, what made me more and more curious is the truth of what happened 3 months before our marriage.Aditya, from what I came to know, is not some arrogant man to come up with a war to just expand territory. He had a lot of chances to wage wars against other huge kingdoms but he refused to fight any war with them. Above all, I want to find out who was the woman Aditya fell for. As much as it would hurt me to let him go to another woman, he loves her. And binding them together would bring him happiness. Yes, it would hurt me. You heard it correctly. It would hurt because knowingly or unknowingly I fell for my husband, and the fact that my husband is in love with someone else hurts the most. The messenger I sent to my natal home, Rajgarh, has arrived back with the information my maid, Vishakha, has sent for me.I asked her to search for what occurred in those 3 months and ma

The next morning, I woke up to find Aditya already awake and staring down at me with his head propped on his palm while supported by his elbow. I smiled at him and he wished me, "Good morning." to which I replied, "good morning." I started to get up when he stopped me and captured me in his arms," What happened Aditya?? Aditya's POV:-The whole place has been in chaos for a week since the time Aadya disappeared. It was our wedding night when she was abducted from our chamber and the whole palace was disturbed. The people of the kingdom have been worrying about their crown princess. Our parents have been worrying about their daughter. And the army of the kingdom is searching everywhere for her. Some rumors have been provoked stating she ran away with someone. But my heart says otherwise. She can never run away from me. The moment we shared the other morning and the precious night, had me agreeing to my heart more than ever. The woman who evoked feelings in my stone heart cannot be a runaway bride. She too loves me. And I still stand by my point. "Vikram..." maa said caressing my head. Her voice was laced with concern. "At least eat something, son. You haven't eaten anything properly. Aadya won't like you ignoring your health like this. You need to be healthy to find and protect her." she said tryin

My heart was beating at its highest pace. It couldn't have come true. He was supposed to be out of my life. "Surprised?? Are we now dear??" He said in a sickly sweet voice which instantly made me want to get miles away from this man. "Le... Let. Let me go... You don't know my husband. If he finds out you'll wish to be dead rather than be here." I tried to sound confident but came out timid and tired of all this. "Now this isn't the welcome I thought of darling... I at least deserve a little praise for my plan to take you away and what I am about to do. But before everything, I live the fear on your face. It makes me want to sin. " He said coming close to my face and I could feel his disgusting breath on my face. " Prince Darsh... The crown prince of Magadh, Prince Vikram Aditya is approaching us. Seems like he figured out where we are." A soldier came in and informed me of the good news I had been waiting for."What??!?? How can he know now, we needed to stay for 3 days in hiding?
