Chapter Eleven- Announcement day

Krystal (POV)Liam has been wonderful these past few days. Very attentive to me and quite sexual. It seems sex between us is only getting better and I could swear he is showing some feelings towards me. Now it is the day of the announcement to the people. I am getting ready and excited to be finally able to wear my new dress. I just hope my mate likes it. I bought it with him in mind. We may have had a rocky beginning, but I am feeling hopeful that he has quit womanizing.I haven’t even seen him looking or lusting at others the way he used to. And when he looks at me these days it is with lust and we even flirt with each other. I am feeling happy now that my mate has settled down. “Are you about ready, You’re highness?” Asked Lola a servant assigned to help me get ready for tonight.I smile at her as I look at my reflection in the mirror. My hair is done in an updo, and my dress is a royal blue off the shoulder as well as showing off my nice cleavage and is snug fitting showing off m

Chapter Twelve- My Krystal

Liam (POV)Holding Krystal in my arms was getting me hard and turned on. She looked so damn beautiful. When I whispered in her ear about wanting to devour her body, I felt her shudder with excitement, and it made me smile. I am glad that she is as sexually active as I am. I needed a mate like her. The moon Goddess knew what she was doing when she paired Krystal and me together. I look over her shoulder and see Elaina dancing with one of my warriors and smile. The two seem to be in a heavy conversation and I just hope she doesn’t think I will call on her because I won’t I have my mate now and I hope the Moon Goddess will bring Elaina her mate one day. I look down at my mate and smile as I take her hand and lead her out of the ballroom and up the stairs to our suite of rooms. I intend to pamper and pleasure my mate tonight. I plan to make her scream my name.I sit her on the edge of the bed, “Stay right there. I will be right back.” I say with a smile. Then I disappear into the bathroo

Chapter Thirteen- Trouble

Krystal (POV) Wow is Liam good at keeping his word? I have never been so satisfied with so many orgasms in my life. We can’t seem to keep our hands off of each other. And he had not even touched another woman since. I guess the best way to this King’s heart is to keep him satisfied in bed. Well, I don’t know about his heart but I one day hope to be able to win it over. I know the mate bond will help with that, but it also has to do with the heart. I myself would love to let go and maybe fall in love with my mate. And maybe he would fall in love with me. But only time will tell. For now, we are getting along, talking, laughing, and of course the sex. Lots and lots of great sex. I can understand why women threw themselves at him before because he is a great lover and knows how to please a woman.Today he is taking me into the city to do some events that are custom for the royal family. Seems everywhere we go the press is always near. So, Liam and I put up with lots of smiles and even k

Chapter Fourteen- What Have I Done?

Liam (POV)I arrive at my office, and Elaina follows behind me. I had a few folders I needed to attend to, but Elaina said she needed to speak with me. I open the door to my office and allow her to walk in first, then I close the door behind us and turn to look at her. I open my mouth to ask what she wanted to speak to me about when she threw herself into my arms and kissed me. I have never been able to deny the chemistry between us and find myself responding to her kiss.I try to take a step back, only for her to follow me until the back of my knees hit the sofa, and I fell on it on my back. She quickly removed her shirt as she was braless, and I reached for her supple breasts. She gasped and reached down and unbuckled my pants, and helped take them off, releasing my hard cock. She bends down and captures my lips again as she lifts her skirt and removes her panties, then slides down on my cock, making me groan in pleasure. Then she began to lift up and down and began to ride my cock a

Chapter Fifteen- The Threat

Krystal (POV)After I got back to my room, I changed into my baggy tee and shorts that I like to sleep in and crawled into bed alone. I cannot believe I confronted Liam and his lover like that. But I was angry and in pain. Then he had the audacity to try and apologize. I refused to hear it and walked out and came back to our room. I texted Jon and informed him of the latest that has happened. I told him how, for a while, Liam had stayed away from other women until last night. I also told him how I confronted Liam in the middle of the act and threw his lover off of him. He sent back a message of LMAO, meaning laugh my ass off, and that made me smile. I told him I would keep him posted in case I might need his assistance again.Jon:You know I will be there anytime you need me. Just call or message me.Me:Thank you, Jon. You are a good friend.Jon:That’s me… friends with benefits.Me::) Goodnight, Jon.Jon:Goodnight, Princess.I turned my phone off and lay down to try and sleep, but

Chapter Sixteen- Discovering Love

Liam (POV) I felt a slight tingle on my lips and moaned my mate's name. I opened my eyes and saw her leaning over me as I had fallen asleep on the couch. “We need to talk.” She says as she sits down on the edge of the sofa next to me. “Yeah, we do,” I say as I sit up and place her on my lap. “I cannot handle the idea of you being with other women other than me.” She took a breath, “And the pain... it is...” She began getting emotional, and I could hear the pain in her voice. That tugged at my heart. Is this what my mother felt? Hearing the pain in my mate’s voice, I held her tight and placed my chin on top of her head. “I am so sorry. I don’t know why I did this. I never mean to hurt you. I can’t blame you for what you did. I know how that pain feels now.” I paused before continuing, “I think I need help.” This is the first time I have let my insecurity show to anyone before. It felt almost freeing in a way. “I don’t want to become like my father.” I wrapped my arms around her

Chapter Seventeen- Growing feelings

Krystal (POV) I want to believe him with all my heart. I really do. But he had promised me before and slipped up. Only I feel this time will be different. He finally opened up to me about his parents, and that spoke to my heart. He was sincerely hurting. I just didn’t know how deep his hurt ran until now. He is scared of becoming like his dad. I have heard as a child how good the old king was to his people, but this is a side of him I have never heard before. I also knew he had a son and loved his mate, but to find out he cheated on her is something you don’t hear about. Of course, I would never have believed I would fall in love with his son or become his mate. With his telling me his story, and with his tears, it touched my heart in a way that I vowed to myself to be here for him and to always love him and help him through his tormented heart. And to show him was to pour my love into our kiss. This kiss feels different. It is as if he is telling me something. Just as I am try

Chapter Eighteen- Surprising News

Liam (POV) It has been a month since I opened up to Krystal about my past and fears. I confronted Elaina and told her to stop any flirtation and try to get me to sleep with her. She didn’t take it well at all. She left angrily. Oh, well. Krystal is my life and mate. I will be faithful to her, unlike my father. I have begun to see a therapist I have requested a male. As I don’t need nor want any temptation to mess me up. I will not subject Krystal to that kind of pain again. I even spoke about how I wished my mother would have slept with another just once to show my dad that pain. After all, it was my beautiful, strong mate who showed me what kind of pain I was putting her through. My mate is the definition of a strong Queen. Absolutely perfect. I’m not saying my mom was weak; after all, she lasted seventeen years of my life going through all that pain. In the end, it just became too much for her. Until she took that leap off the cliff. When my dad took his life a year after I almo

Chapter Nineteen- Suspicious

Krystal (POV) I hear gasps around us to those who heard her proclamation. I let go of Liam’s hand and glared at Elaina. I am trying to determine if this is a trick or if she was telling the truth. The one time I caught them in the act they didn’t get a chance to finish and before that it was a while because we were trying to make it work. So, if she is and it was Liam’s it would mean she must be at least over two months along. I am only five weeks. Meaning I was pregnant the last time I caught them together. That night he finally confessed everything to me. That night everything changed between us. But IF she is pregnant, that means she is carrying the true heir as she was pregnant before me. “In my office, now.” Liam said as he stood up. He looked down at me and added, “You too, my love. I promised to never be alone with her again.” I nodded and stood up next to him, and we began to walk toward his office. Once in the office Liam sat behind his desk and crossed his arms and glared

Chapter Twenty- Confrontation

Liam (POV) After seeing the ultrasound of our child, it excited me so much. Hearing its fast heartbeat and the small peanut size baby made my chest puff with pride. This is the heir of the kingdom. I went back to my office with a smile on my face. My mate is perfect, and she is the perfect woman to carry my child. Of course, I don’t believe Elaina for one minute. For one, I don’t feel a bond to that pup the same way I do Kristal’s and mine. As Alpha and King, I would feel a bond if it were mine. I am now beginning to see just how far she would go to break Kris and me up. Not to mention, I can smell the difference between the pups. I can smell how the pup Kris is carrying smells between her and me. Where Elaina’s smells completely different. My smell would have been a mix of hers, and it isn’t. I have been doing all I can to avoid Elaina. I know I will need to confront her about her lies, and when I do, I will have Krystal by my side. Even though I know I am stronger now that I am
