She was running. Even if her heels were broken, her head was bleeding and her tears were blinding her, she was still running like mad. Somebody screamed. Aidan felt his blood chill at the shrill ominous sound and his heart leapt in fear in his throat. Without thinking, his heart said only one word. Kate!
