MATED TO THE LYCAN のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 31 - チャプター 40

It was not until almost sunset that Abigail got to the pack. The distance from where she was to the pack was quite a great distance. She had been having an ominous feeling which made her increase her speed. She wasn't feeling comfortable in any way and wanted to know the reason.Getting to the pack she saw the huge gate in front of the pack had a dent in it.The guards that were supposed to be at the gate were not there.Immediately Abigail frowned and stopped in her tracks."What the hell is happening?" She muttered. She stopped in her tracks and pushed open the gate walking in slowly. She had been out all day so she had no idea what happened.Getting into the pack she walked some distance looking around at the houses and the people doing their work.Suddenly she frowned and sped in the distance. Getting there she frowned, looking surprised.Construction workers were working on the road. There were cracks and dents on the floor. Some of the streetlights were disfigured beyond recogni

Jefferson went out of prison after killing the man. He felt as if he was relieved of a huge burden. Blood was dripping from his fingers slowly as he raised his head glancing at the sky. Everywhere was quiet as only the chirping of cricket and the dripping of blood could be heard.Due to his super hearing, he could hear distant voices of what was happening in each house in the pack but that wasn't his concern at the moment.Right now he wanted nothing more but to end the matters with the wolves and live a peaceful life with his mate. Have children and watch them grow while spending his old age in blissfulness. He vowed he was going to finish everything as quickly as he could so he could live the life he wanted with his mate. But what he knew not was that fate didn't always plan as one wished."Jeff, what are you thinking about? You've been standing there for over five minutes."A voice said behind Jefferson and he turned around only to see his sister walk towards him slowly with a smil

*** JEFFERSON’s P.O.V *** * * Immediately after I finished I collapsed on the bed. Many thoughts were running through my mind. I was typically having the best day of my life. I lay on the bed looking at the woman who now had her head on my chest looking at me in the eyes. Her gaze made me smile slightly. Though I had blood on my hands I wasn't going to let anything happen to her. Though I knew it was a time before my enemies found me I would protect her. My master would probably come to my aid once I get into trouble with the pack. Because the last time I followed his orders I didn't know why. But he asked me to leave a clue. The woman on my chest knew not who I was. So I felt hiding it from her was kind of harsh. Turning my head and looking into her eyes I whispered into her ears. "I have something I want to tell you." "Shhh!" She gestured using her hands to cover my mouth. "Everything can wait. Am sure you're also tired. Let's rest." She whispered. "But..." "No hone

JEFFERSON POV***Ever since my parents died no one volunteered to take care of me.I was left all by myself to wallow in distress, pain, and agony. They all believed I was the one who killed my parents. But they died to save me.I lived by myself eating anything I could find.I had no friends. All parents made sure their children avoided me like a plague. My only friends were the rodents in our house and the insects.I had grown to understand the cruelty of the world from a Young age.But wait, why was I brought here?To revisit my past?My antagonizing past. A past that I had locked deep inside my mind. Something I never wanted to remember. Were the Gods answering my prayers or punishing me?This wasn't an answer to my prayers, it was a punishment. I wondered why I was brought here. Why wasn't I taken to hell directly? All that had been happening had been confusing and I didn't understand a thing.I had struggled and racked my brain to see if I would understand what was going on b

Jefferson woke up with a start as he was sweating. Sweat covered his whole being and he was breathing heavily.Subconsciously he touched his heart to feel if it was still beating. What the hell was happening? What the hell was the dream he had just now?The dream felt so real. What was the dream implying? What was the moon goddess trying to show him?He didn't understand. After some minutes his breathing became stabilized and he looked at DeLorna sleeping beside him.Sighing he used his hands to stroke her hair which was scattered across her face.A smile spread across his face as he used his hands to stroke her face. She was the most beautiful person he had ever laid his eyes on and she would continue to be the most beautiful as long as he lived. He loved her with all his heart. Remembering his dream of him killing his face his body shivered and he hoped the moon goddess was just trying to warn him. He knew no matter what his mate would do he would never raise his hands to hit her."
