LATE FOR WORK
Medusa groaned as Lucinda's phone continued to blare. "What's going on? Why is your phone so loud?" she asked, blinking her eyes open. Checking her own phone, she cursed under her breath. "Lucinda, wake up! You're going to be late for work," she said, shaking her friend awake.Lucinda grumbled, "Can't I just sleep a little longer?"Lucinda's phone rang again, and Medusa showed the caller ID to her. "It's your boss. I told you going out last night was a bad idea," Medusa scolded.Lucinda sighed and sat up, burying her face in her hands. "I thought we were just living the good life."Medusa shook her head. "Well, now you're extremely late for work. Maybe you can call in sick?"Lucinda grinned hopefully. "Can't you just make the call for me?"Medusa rolled her eyes and tugged the sheets off the bed. “Better late than never. Stop being lazy and get out of bed," Medusa said. “You haven't told me who that handsome guy was who dropped you off at home last night."Lucinda stood up, holding he

SLEEPY LUCINDA
Ralph sat at his desk, going through the files that piled up over the past few days. His eyes flicked to the clock on his desk, and he sighed when he saw that Lucinda was still not here. He wondered what she was doing with Deacon and couldn't help but feel a twinge of annoyance that she was not here on time. "I wonder what they're talking about," he muttered to himself before getting up from his chair and walking out of his office. As he approached Deacon's gate, he saw Lucinda sleeping in Deacon's arms. Ralph felt his anger flare up at the sight. "Is she nuts? I was waiting for her, and she's here sleeping!" he thought. He walked over to her and put his fingers on her lips."Shhh," he said, and carried Lucinda in his arms."Come back, we need to have a conversation," Deacon said, but Ralph ignored him. He teleported Lucinda to his office and dropped her on the floor."Ahhh!" she screamed, holding her back in a seductive way."Are you here to work or sleep?" Ralph asked, giving her hi

WHO ARE YOU?
Lucinda and Ralph walked out of the company, the cool night air hitting their faces. Barbie approached them, her high heels clicking on the pavement."Hi, Lucinda, how are you?" Barbie asked."I am fine," Lucinda replied, trying to hide her exhaustion."Are you free tonight? How about you come hang out with me and my friends? Nathan is asking for you, he says he'll see you at home," Barbie said, grinning at Lucinda. Ralph's eyes widened in surprise."Who is Nathan?" Lucinda and Ralph said in unison."Are you for real? Don't you know Nathan, the guy you danced with yesterday?" Barbie said, looking keenly at Lucinda. She stroked her hair backwards."I don't remember," Lucinda muttered, trying to recall anything from the previous night."Maybe if you see him, you will remember. I'm going now, bye!" Barbie said, waving as she headed off. Ralph drove them to the restaurant. As they waited for their food, Lucinda's mind wandered. She couldn't remember anything from yesterday, except for the

ANOTHER VOCALNO
Nathan put his hand to his ear and said, "I will call you," but they ignored him and walked away. Nathan looked at them and hit his hand on his car, with steam coming out of his ears. He was extremely angry."Oh, I almost forgot. Here is your phone," Ralph said, giving Lucinda the phone as he opened the car door for her. She got into the car, and Nathan glared at them. Ralph got into the car and started the engine, only to realize that Nathan's car was blocking his way."Move it!" Ralph snapped, pressing the horn of his car. Nathan growled and walked into his car to move it out of the way.As they drove, the world outside the car was a blur of colors and shapes. Passing car headlights created streaks of light, and the world outside seemed to move at an incredible speed. After a quiet and awkward drive, Ralph arrived in front of Lucinda's house, and she stepped out and turned back to look at him."Thank you," she muttered and turned back to go. "Come to work early tomorrow," he grinned

TRAPPED IN THE VOLCANO
"What's with the look?" Ralph asked, raising questioning eyebrows."What about me? What will I wear?" she turned."Don't worry, I'll bring one for you," Ralph said as he entered the mansion."How can someone live alone in a big house like this?" Lucinda said, observing the mansion. "Doesn't he get lonely staying here alone? I wonder how it looks inside." She walked to the window of the mansion and stuck her head out, peering into the interior. "It's magnificent!" she exclaimed, gazing into the opulent interior. As someone put a hand on her shoulder, she vibrated and turned back slowly, gazing into his big green eyes."What are you staring at?" Ralph asked, looking at her."I was--I was..." he interrupted her."Shh, let's go," he said, handing her an armor. She looked at the armor and glared at him."How will I wear mine?" she asked and a smile curved on his face."Wear it on top of your dress," he replied in a funny manner.Lucinda struggled to wear the armor. "Isn't he going to help

THE AFTERMATH
"How can we get out of here?" he asked, tightening his grip on her hand as they stood at the edge of the cliff overlooking the boiling volcano below. The heat was intense and the sound of the eruption was deafening."Try to teleport us once more," she stated, her voice filled with determination."But it's no use," he replied bluntly, scanning the area for any other escape routes. Suddenly, a demon appeared out of nowhere, snatched the sapphire from Ralph, and disappeared with it. "No! No! No!" Ralph screamed at the top of his lungs, sounding as though he were about to go mad without the sapphire."Try one more time, trust me," she said, placing her hand on his face, urging him to believe."Alright," he said, hugging her tightly before closing his eyes and focusing on their destination. With a loud whoosh, they disappeared into thin air just as the volcano erupted with a deafening roar. They both landed on Ralph's desk, disoriented and dizzy from the teleportation. Warning
"Lucinda, Lucinda, are you alright?" Ralph asked, his gaze fixated on her with an unsettling intensity. Lucinda weakly met his eyes and replied, "Yes," before slowly walking away, her nose wrinkling as blood began to trickle from it. Concerned, Ralph rushed to her side, holding her hand gently. "You're bleeding," he remarked, swiftly retrieving a handkerchief to staunch the flow. "Thank you," Lucinda muttered, forcing a smile that failed to conceal its artificiality."That's a warning from me," Lucifer interjected as Lucinda and Ralph made their way to the company cafeteria. They settled down, Ralph ordering their food while Lucinda attempted to immerse herself in her meal. Just as she was about to take a bite, her phone rang, revealing an unfamiliar number on the screen. "Hello," she answered, her tone cautious. "How are you? It's me, Nathan," a familiar voice declared bluntly. Unfazed, Lucinda inquired, "I'm good. Why are you calling?" Nathan's response was straightforward:

Top-secret
Ralph's eyebrows rose and fell, a subtle movement that didn't go unnoticed by Lucinda. Her heart skipped a beat as she walked back to her desk, coffee in hand, contemplating whether to wake him or not. Perhaps reaching out to her husband would provide a distraction from the peculiar situation. She closed her eyes, focusing her thoughts on him, and called out to him telepathically. "What do you need me for now?" came Lucifer's cold response. Her smile widened as she replied, "I don't need anything from you. I just wanted to hear from you." The unexpected question followed, "What are you doing now?" Lucinda's gaze remained fixed on Ralph as she muttered, "Nothing." Lucifer persisted, "Can you come to me now?" A hint of frustration crept into her voice as she bluntly replied, "Hell no, I can't leave work now. Ralph will get angry if he finds out I'm not here." "Just two minutes, I want to talk to you," he insisted. Reluctantly, she acquiesced, saying, "Okay, I will be there." Luc

Second attempt
"That was fast," Ralph remarked, eyeing Lucinda warily as she handed him the cup of coffee. His suspicions lingered in his gaze, a flicker of doubt in his mind. "I hope this is not poisoned?" he questioned, his voice laced with an undertone that sent a chill down Lucinda's spine. His instincts warned him against drinking the coffee, but he ignored the inner voice and brought the mug to his lips. The rich aroma filled his senses, and he took a sip. The taste was sweet and refreshing, a testament to Lucinda's skill in brewing the perfect cup."You can go now. I'll call you when I need you. In the meantime, go through this file and report back to me," Ralph instructed, handing her a folder. Lucinda accepted it, a sly smile playing on her lips, and she sashayed back to her desk on the other side of the office. Ralph's gaze followed her, captivated by her movements as she glanced at the file, her fingers trailing through her hair and a pen teasingly placed in her mouth. He shook his head,

Strange
As the broken mug lay on the floor, Ralph surveyed the scene, his gaze lingering on the shattered pieces. Lucinda, attempting to clean up the mess, squatted down, unsure if she should proceed."Leave it, don't hurt yourself. I will call the cleaners to come and take care of it. It's not your job," Ralph instructed, his voice filled with concern. Lucinda slowly stood up, her eyes still fixed on the broken mug."But it's strange how a mug I placed here would just fall on its own," Ralph stated, stroking his chin in thought."I saw you place it on your table too. Maybe it's the wind," Lucinda suggested, her voice trailing off. Ralph stared at her incredulously."The wind? Give me a break. How would the wind knock over something so heavy?" Ralph retorted, reaching for his phone on the table. Soon, the cleaners entered the room, ready to handle the cleanup. Ralph continued to watch Lucinda intently, his gaze unwavering. She cautiously took her seat, avoiding eye contact with him as she sat
