Lahat ng Kabanata ng Kissed by the Alpha's Inferno: Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

Vyin’s POV.-I stare at the deathly serious look on Ludis’ face, intending to just blow it away as a huff, but...I feel it too, the conviction blazing in his eyes tells me all I need to know without a shred of denial. Is he trying to tell me those bastards could’ve plotted something so big by themselves, without no other orchestrators participating? That’s bullshit. So I ask, huffing arrogantly, “And you believed his word for it? I had my presumptions they were indeed behind that movement- but those were rogues, Ludis. They couldn’t have possibly had a little army of their own hidden somewhere and-”Huh? I pause suddenly, my mind going blank for a second, and then the gap begins to fill up. If I do think about that possibility being the case all along then….Ludis reads the look in my eyes and nods carefully as he says, “It’s just as you think, Vyin. They weren’t the only ones involved in the plot. Back then, they had tried to convince dad into forcing an annexation of all

Elizabeth’s POV.-I blink, shaking out the pungent disgust to register the scent of blood with my eyes eagerly searching around all three.Angie looks uneasy, with shifty eyes, and tries hard to resist biting her lower lip as she adjusts her glasses. And Elaine looks even more out of it with the way she’s fumbling with her clammy fingers and keeping her gaze on them. Then I raise a brow at Hadrien who shrugs casually, averting his eyes to the ceiling. No one wants to speak, huh? I suck in a calming breath and dart a hand toward Elaine, grabbing and pulling her arm at a speed that astounds me. The smell of blood hits me strongly and prevents me from dwelling on that as a frown indents my face.Angie’s arm comes over Elaine’s and I see the fresh cut over her skin, the atrocious smell ripping my nose apart as I quickly let them go. “What the heck happened to you?” I frown, mainly from the effusive smell as I keep my palm cooped over my nose.Hadrien finally feels like speakin

Elizabeth’s POV.-Plucking the rubber band between my teeth, I use it to tie my amazing hair into a high ponytail as I watch my reflection in the mirror to ensure I’ve got all the strands in place. The people around me quickly adapted to my new extraordinary appearance and even that older woman had been quite shocked to see me as well. Heh, she might still be more beautiful and all but- Ugh, quit down-grading yourself, Beth.I bring down my hands to admire my wavy length of hair with a smirk. It’s so long that it grazes my waist when held up like this. Tori had joked about modeling for a fashion magazine and earned an earful from me.But having second thoughts now...should I give it a try?Hell no! Vyin will eat me alive for sure.I inhale deeply, lowering my gaze to the sink with slouching shoulders. Ludis never answered my question and only adorned a soft smile as he told me to wait for his brother. Maybe I got too curious back there, I did say I’d wait for when next we

Elizabeth’s POV.-I quietly spew a sigh of relief when I arrive before Angie’s bedroom door and I pull off the hood over my head. I had almost been seen by aunt busy preparing dinner in the kitchen. It’s a good thing Tori’s not around either. He won’t be coming home tonight, thanks to a gaming marathon a friend of his is hosting. Now, I gently wrap my fingers around the door handle with my back plastering against the door so I can keep looking around in case aunt might come up the stairs. Daintily bringing myself into the bedroom while taking backward steps, I stiffen when I hear a voice behind me.“Oh- Hey, where did you suddenly disappear to? Beth, what’re you doing sneaking in like that, picked a fight with Tori again?” I hear Angie’s snickering voice and my stomach drops.‘Shoots, I didn’t think my plan to this extent’ I gulp tensely, holding onto my position when hands suddenly grip my shoulders and I’m whirling around to see the puzzling faces of Zara and Angie. And gr

Elizabeth’s POV. - I look up to see Ludis gripping Akemi’s face with his large palm flattened tightly over her nose and mouth. With a void expression on his blunt face, he continues to intensify his grip, unflinching from Akemi’s manicured nails digging and scrapping over the skin of his palm. Vyin just stands there like a forgotten statue, watching his brother practically suffocate Akemi in his iron grip until Ludis promptly let's go and meets gazes with me. There’s no shift in the void on his face even as he takes in the state his sister is in while he flings Akemi across the floor like a rag. He begins to stroll towards me and comes to crouch next to me. “I’ll take her to the hospital. Elaine, you too” Ludis states in a flat voice and I’m starting to get a creepy vibe from him. Anyone would react in hysteria to find us three in the states we’re in, but this calm ambiance about him is rather foreboding. I want to say something when he effortlessly lifts Angie into his arms, but
