Connor and I had to assemble our warriors as fast as possible. We needed to get to dad’s pack, but we had a lot of problems that we were facing. We didn’t know how many people he had in his pack now. We didn’t know how many patrols he had on, we didn’t know the layout of his new pack territory…we were going in there completely blind. We had everyone leave the hotel at different times, and casually, so the humans didn’t suspect anything. Connor and I were the last ones to leave and we all drove halfway to the pack and then pulled over in a parking lot near the forestry. We would have to go the rest of the way on foot and in small groups, so they didn’t hear us coming. When we got out of the cars we all split up into groups and Connor refused to let me go in a group without him. CONNOR POV I felt the exact moment that Aurora decided to let go. I felt every emotion, every feeling, every thought. It tore through me like a tidal wave. As soon as we started approaching their camp, I could tell that we were getting close. I could hear a lot more noise and children playing. It wasn’t what I expected. Once we came out of the treeline, I saw where they lived. It was a beautiful, magical looking place. There were no houses, but everyone around there looked happy next to the lake with a waterfall. Flowers that I had never seen before. They even moved on their own. Trees that engulfed the whole area like a large canopy with the sun shining through it wherever it could. It was a beautiful place and I was in awe as soon as I saw it. MILES POV I had successfully merged William’s pack with Connor’s pack and they were making themselves useful at the castle now. They weren’t causing any static and the ones that were still loyal to William were either killed or locked in the dungeon of the castle. And the dungeon in the castle is no laughing matter.
