"You came home early, why?"I pursed my lips into one thin line and sighed heavily. I went to the kitchen and Zed followed me there, He is confused and clueless because I went home early than my usual off shift. I get a glass and poured a cold water, I then sat on the high chair and faced him who also sat in front of me."I resigned," I simply said and shrugged my shoulder a little, as if it was just nothing and it does not affect me at all.He then creased his brows. "Why?""I don't know, I just need a rest," I answered and drink my water empty. I poured the glass once again because I still feel thirsty. I need more water because it was like I will collapse here in any minute."What did Mister Ramirez said?"I looked away from him when he mentioned that man. Just by hearing his name, it was like I have been fucked up and everything seemed to flashback. Yeah, everything. About what happened at us back in Canada and the conversation we had lately. Everything is fresh in my mind and I j

“Are you mad?”“No, I am not.”I feel guilty to what he has to witness. I may not see him getting mad, but it is clear to my vision that he is in pain. Mister Ramirez was just about to kiss me and I was about to let him be, but he appeared.“I just went by because I can't take it,” Zed added and bit his lower lip. “I can't regulate myself just that. I disdain to see you being smooched.”Oh, wow. What would be his reaction when he knew that I am already not a virgin and that “man” was the one who took it? He might crawl out and feel contempt when it comes to his proficiency that I and Mister Ramirez had intercourse.“I’m sorry,” I said. “I can't promise to not be kissed by him, Zed. You know that I have to make him fall for me, right?”“You believe he will love you already when his lips whiffs yours?”“It’s not that —”“It’s fine, Tal,” he cut me off and held my hand. He then looked at my eyes. “I am just concern. I want to protect you against him but then, that’s the plan in the first

"Can you tell me?" I am now begging, I know. "Tell me your secrets.""Talia, I can't," Zed refused to tell it to me. I already expected this but I can't help but to feel hurt. "I am sorry but this is my secret left. I want to tell it to you because we promised to each other, no hiding secrets. But this is for good."I forced a smile and nodded my head. "It's fine, don't be sorry.""It is our promise and I should not break it.""I also have one secret left. I guess it will be fair."He was surprised but ended up smiling at me. I guess this is a good understanding to the both of us. My only secret to him is that I had sex with Kiel and about his, I don't know. I should worry less because just like what he said, it was for good."Any plans to see him?" he diverted the topic. I already know who he is referring to."Nah, I will just stay here.""You are out of the work again. You sure you would not back out being his secretary? You know, you don't have to assist and serve him for him to fa

"Uncle!"Zed called his uncle, Deguzman. He just finished to talk to Talia. He is currently in the backyard garden of his uncle's house and he saw the man walking out of the gate, heading to his car like going somewhere. Deguzman looked at him with his brows knotted big time."They are calling me," Deguzman simply said and went inside his car. Zed followed him getting away of the place, confused. He doesn't know who he is referring to but he has a tiny idea about that person. He just heaved a sigh and looked at his phone he is gripping on. His shoulders were sagged, disappointed and in disbelief."Talia," he muttered under the air. "I am so sorry," he added, guilt is evident in his voice. He has to shake his head and remind why he is doing this. He need motivation that does not involve to the woman, Talia, because he knew, he is fucked up by himself. He headed inside the house of his uncle and relaxed himself. He has to cool down. While closing his eyes, the face of his very best frie

She sat in a steel chair and wiped beads of sweats that is formed in her forehead. She roamed her eyes around the room and smile to herself. She did not expect nor imagine that she will end up like this, that she will end up here using guns to protect herself. Thinking that her life is in danger and knowing how to fight is exciting. It makes her feel the thrill instead of getting upset.Talia looked up at the man in front of her who handed her a hankie. "Thank you," Talia said to the man whom she does not know. She saw him just now and she did not feel the man's presence inside the room."I am Billy," the man introduced himself and smiled at Talia. "You are new, are not you? And hey, you are with the Ramirez's."Talia nodded her head and reached for a bottle of water, She drink first. "Yeah, I am.""What are you with them? I mean, not to be mean. I was just as
