My hair was blown out, cut in layers down to my breasts, one side pinned back with a crystal clasp behind my ear, the rest pushed back and wavy falling over my shoulders. My face was flawless, if I didn’t know I was covered in bruises I would have never guessed. My eyes looked bright and alive, a little eyeliner smudged into a wing with my own long lashes coated in mascara made them wide and awake.
