I woke up, and a shiver ran down my spine. I was lying on the cold floor for God knows how. I think I cried to sleep. Running my fingers over my face, I realized how sticky it feels. I could feel the dried tears. I sighed and tried to stand up, but could not. My whole body felt stiff. I groaned and laid back on the floor. I tried to remember how my day has been and the only good memory of today I had so far is going out with Lucas. Not only that, but I don't know if my sister and her husband are back, and if she will need me to do anything for her, so I stood up finally and ran a bath to help myself wash off my puffy face and also to relax my body. A warm bath will do. As I sat in the bath, I tried as much as possible to let the water relieve off every tension in my system, both physically and emotionally. I don't need anyone to tell me that it's over between Moris and me. We were over a long time ago, I just did not realize it. I stood up fifteen m

Jenny's point of view….. I sat on the kitchen stool as I waited for my rice to be ready. Susan said we are having rice and beef sauce. I made the sauce already, and I was waiting for the rice to get ready. Today is almost over, and it has not been productive enough. Zain walked into the kitchen and picked a glass. He wants to drink water, I guess. As he said in the morning, he has been keeping to his lane. He has not said anything or even attempted to say anything to me, and I was uncomfortable about it. It was great having him keep to himself, but I don't want it. “Zain” I called softly, and he turned with his brows raised. “What is it?” “There is something on your cheek” I told him, and he raised his hand to his face and wiped off the invisible stuff on his face. I smiled to myself, he actually believed me. I was just seeking his attention. "It's still there" I said and walked to him and stood in front of him. I smiled at him

Tasha lay face up on her big bed. She has waited for Jenny to text her back, but it looks like she has to wait for an eternity. She replaced her phone earlier. Tasha just has to understand that Jenny might not text and go to bed. She can't force Jenny to love her, but she can make Jenny love her. She just has to trust the process and put more effort and not being mean, being kind enough and expressing her feelings to Jenny might actually soften Jenny's heart, and she would accept her. Tasha is not the one to give up on what she wants. She is a goal-getter. She sighed and turned on the bed. Her door slightly opened and her elder brother, Trucy walked into the room with a full smile on his face but when he saw how sad Tasha is looking, the smile on his face slipped off. “Hey, kid sister, what's with the face?” He asked and sat on her bed. Tasha looked at him for some time and looked away. “Nothing, just battling demons. What are you doing here?”

“Hi Trucy, long time”I said excitedly, and he chuckled.“You left for Reben Castle and you did not tell me. I hope I am not calling you too early?”“Not at all. I am awake and planning to eat, so you can see I am up already. I am sorry about not telling you, I thought Tasha was going to. So, how is home?” “Home is here. Well, I asked after you from Tasha yesterday, and she said you are visiting Reben, when will you be back?"He asked. “I am not certain, depending on when my sister gives birth and when she is stronger. You know in 3 months I will be going back to school, so definitely I will be back before then” “That's right, I just thought of checking up on you.”“Okay then. Say hi to Tasha for me”I said quickly before he hung up. I was uncertain if he heard me. I dropped the phone and went back to my breakfast, but as it is, it was like I was not going to eat in peace. A knock came out then, I swore under my breath and went to get it. Zain stood at the door like an Al

Owen got off from me and I raised my eyes in the direction of the voice, Zain stood glaring at both of us. “If you both want to play, use the bedroom, not my living room.” Owen smirked, picked up his laptop and left. I stood up and left for the kitchen to get a mop to clean the mess I made and after that, I left for my room. I was sure that Zain's stare was on me the whole time but I chose to care less Zain's point of view….. I watched her walk past me and it took every strength in me to stop myself from dragging her back. She was actually playing love with Owen in my living room after I warned her about Owen. After the little scenario between us, I thought she was going to run back to me, no, that's not the right word, I mean, I thought she was going to hide her face after shamelessly admitting to me to make out with her. I was surprised at the confidence she had when you came into the kitchen and she still shocked me by not acknowledging me. I'm not g
