Chapter 11

Broken by the Billionaire Mafia Jessica's POV Kessler's sister- Anna is a really good kid. I shuffle from my home to his most work and weekends and by doing so it has shaped me to loosen up in most areas of my life. “Aunt Jessica can we go now?” She says almost out of breath running down the stairs. We have to make it in time for my cake testing. Yes, my wedding cake testing. My uncle disapproved of my relationship to any male specie that wasn't Samuel the cheat. How could he be inhumane? He knows too well the pain and misery that hellish union would cost me but he cares less. Money has gotten a hold of his conscience, he can trade it for anything. The meeting might not have gone well like I thought of my uncle accepting Kessler for my happiness but the highlight of the dinner meeting was Kessler standing up to my dictatorial Uncle. It felt so pure to watch him defend me like his life depends on it. The bitchy part of me thought it would break out in

Jessica

Broken by the Billionaire Mafia Belle's POV I watched her smile trickle to the floor. Her smile could light up an entire room- A lighthouse in human form. She looked like a goddess. The diamonds on her neck screamed of immense wealth and luxury she was accustomed and born into, her wedding dress made of the best pearls man could find which accentuated her hourglass figure. Her skin tone shone brightly oiled. The crown on her head, her light make up seemed expertly done. I moved to the bride and her handsome groom. He didn't look bad at all. The most fashionable male in the room. “Good luck to the most beautiful bride and her groom. I can hardly believe you are here looking this happy and beautiful in one piece. Thank you for being the prince charming she waited for all these years.” “Thanks Belle.” he smiles, showing his sets of perfect teeths. His voice sends chords of goosebumps on my toes, nipples and stomach. Perfect iro

Jessica daughter

Anarietta POV My face stuck into page sixty four of my favorite book as I flipped through one of the pages with a pringle in hand and a cup of warm coffee sitting on the school cafeteria table. I took a bite out of my hand licking my finger tips off the crumbs and adjusted my big old glasses before going back to the blocks of words. My temporary escape. “Look who we found the mighty human hamburger.” A girl who I recognize her voice to be that of the blonde cheerleader, the most popular girl in high school says. Her little minions burst into laughter and my fingers dug into my skirt tighter as I breath hope and tolerance into my lungs. Beatrice has always had this bitchy attitude when it comes to me, maybe because I'm the weakest person in school. The class doormat anyone can trample upon and throw their vileness and I won't fight back. I paid no heed to their silly antics and focused on my book school session would be over soon, I hoped. “Argh!” A hard scream

Kessler's son

“Where are you taking me to? You're hurting my wrist please I'm begging you.” I slammed her hard against the wall that caused a thud with my huge arms caging her before she slips from my fingers from her tiny frame. “Are you ready to accept the rejection?” “Why should I reject my ma-te?” She stuttered nervously in disbelief on what I said. I acted as a good son before my father like I accepted the mate thingy and wanted to know my mate better only to get her aside and do the unexpected. “This claws of mine will rip your heart open and I'll so break you till you amass to chunks of flesh and bones if you disobey my orders. I hate the mate bullshit and if you refuse to reject me I'll be the perfect husband and mate to the public eye...” I lean closer to her earlobe licking her ear and watched her shiver from the simple contact. Damn this mate bond thing. I could feel it too like electric collision jamming to the other. “...but I'll make you see hell and would send you a me

Jessica's second twin

I scrolled down my phone searching for the hottest clubs in the state. I've been away for years studying and got back home yesterday. It feels great to be back home but it's a double tragedy. One mother would scold and force her opinions down my throat and two "Mate". The mate thing scares the tiny shit out of me. I'm excited to see who the moon goddess will pair me up with; he's definitely going to be a hottie, smooth as silk and rich as the president. The moon goddess can't make the mistake of gifting me a broke and ugly mate. It would be a silent nightmare that I would never experience ever again. I'm the hottest models right from school days winning back to back on various beauty pageant, school prom night. “Good morning ma'am your mother requests your presence in her chambers.” An ugly duck for a maid bows on one knee as she made her assignment known. “How dare you barge into my bedroom without knocking have you gone mad?” I yelled at the top of my lungs. The bitch had t

The present

Anarietta POV The talking clock clicked for the longest time my brain cells could process. Guess I'm still slow at everything. I slipped on my slippers and walked into my bedroom for a morning wash. My eyes connect to the mirror to see my big glasses and brittle hair sliding out of my hair bonnet in style. Thank the moon goddess it has been five years free from school pressure and the bullies. I slipped out of my sleeping suit by unbuttoning my sleep dress one after the other and pulled the skirt down before walking into the bathing tub and felt the cold water embrace my skin as I take a dip. My head resting on the bath layer as I let the water bubble while I take in my life for the past five years. One would think the years might have a difference in my life or better still a slight difference but nothing has changed. The things that have changed is the proportion of my boobs and the roundness of my ass. I still get nervous around strangers and people scares me. I s

Broken by the Billionaire Mafia CHAPTER ONE MARIA MCCAIN POV It's a cold morning in Santa-Dabia, it's always cold but today seems colder than usual, wrapped in my blanket, curled up sipping my coffee, I knew it was a matter of time till I would leave all the cold behind.I was about 5′4 tall with brunette hair that was long and thick, blue eyes as blue as the sea with rosy lips and a noticeable cleft chin. Curled up in a blanket I wore white sleeping pajamas paired with white socks. I wasn't bothered by the cold that was breaking my skin that much after all I've lived all my life in cold Santa-Dabia, it was the cold in my heart that bothered me the most. It's been two years since Jackson, my college sweetheart, left me on the altar. He just vanished into thin air and left me with wedding debts, shame, and a hole in my heart. A hole I had tried to fix with work and several failed attempts at love. It's a new year, January the coldest time of the year in San

Chapter Two

Broken By the Billionaire Mafia Chapter two The constant ringing of my phone was buzzing like crazy, and I slowly opened my eyes and looked sideways with sleepy eyes. As I used my hands to scan the couch when my hands got in contact with my phone. It was Linda calling and had already called three times when I scrolled my phone. I looked at the time on my phone and realised it was thirty minutes to prepare before the party starts. A follow-up text from Linda buzzed through my phone and it said she was almost there to pick me up. That's Linda for you so caring and possessive of her bestie! Linda had since that night won my heart, once my eyelids flung open and I took in my environment. My eyes met a coffee by the bedside, and a note that said, "Don't move. I figured you'll have a headache, so I went to get you some meds." Which was followed up with a heart-shaped card. That gesture was one of the sweetest things I've experienced in months. A

Chapter Three

Chapter Three A dark silhouette stood at the window with a cigarette in hand. The moon cast a dark shadow over him but it could be figured out the person beside the window was a manly figure. He held a glass of whiskey and the other hand a cigarette. His head spun with thoughts of the past. The past that was etched deep into his heart like a scar.***JOHN'S POV In a run-down and dilapidated warehouse located in the outskirts of Orano, a young man was kidnapped and blindfolded. The blindfold was lifted off my eyes, as the effect of the drug I was injected with began to wear off my system. My eyes slowly opened as I groan in pain, my palms covering my face to shield off the cutting edge light that infiltrates my vision. The last time I could remember my eyes were forcibly blindfolded. "What do you want?" I asked, my eyes scanning the black-masked boys holding sticks and batons. "Hahahaha..." They roared in laughter and one sent a bone-crushing punch to my stoma

Chapter 4

CROSS POV John's pulse was faint and I knew if he was not rushed out in time to the hospital he might not survive it.Fuck how careless could I be? I knew John was stubborn, the young man wanted his freedom and not to be watched 24/7. I should have checked on John in his bedroom when I noticed an unusual silence. John wasn't the type to stay silent for a long period. The alarm clock buzzed continuously in his bedroom and I noticed a problem when he wasn't shutting it out. So I quickly got to his bedroom after a while and searched the entire room and John wasn't found. After searching, going through the entire house, and asking Roseline if she had seen him which came out negatively. Then my brain remembered the watch I gifted John. That was the only saving grace, I put a tracker on that watch to help me locate the young man's whereabouts in situations like this. I decided to check if he wore the watch, so I searched John's room and the watch wasn't found. It meant only on
