Just as Will thought the only heartbreak he would have to endure was watching Zayn lie on the bed, with no idea of the moment he would open his eyes or choose to keep them shut forever. The second problem then arose."This is bad." Justin muttered with furrowed brows as they watched the news. Will had just gotten to find out about how president Joe and Miles were related, it was no longer a surprise how Miles was able to get away and hide after his troubles, when he had someone that high behind him. The news about Joe instantly skyrocketed and the whole city was in a turmoil. The president's company immediately went out of business, taking the jobs of millions at all the branches across the world. Like that wasn't enough, partnering companies were beginning to take a hit, and it wasn't also much of a surprise that Zayn's company was taking it the hardest. He'd built up a good relationship with Joe that this was known to almost everyone who had a smartphone or was connected to the int

The next few minutes sent Will down the road of terror as he watched the nurse who had come in get down to pumping Zayn's chest. It didn't take long for the room to hold a doctor accompanied by two other nurses."Please step back."They instructed Will and he staggered back as his heart beat up in his chest. His eyes danced around and he watched them rush into action. What's happening? The doctor read the machine and he rushed down to expose Zayn's bare chest "We're losing him, sir.""What?" Will breathed at the words and his eyes went down to Zayn who was still unconscious. Who were they losing? He watched the nurses take out a defibrillator and as Will watched Zayn being taped up with new tubes, he felt his breathing destabilize anxiously. The nurse giving the CPR stepped aside and Will watched the doctor move closer. "Clear." he pressed a button and Zayn's chest pump up the bed. They repeated their actions and Will didn't know when the tears in his eyes began to fall down his f

Will felt Zayn give his hand a light pull forward, and it didn't require much power for his body to follow through. He thought he was over his crying era, but this was the worst he'd seen himself. Was this really not a dream? He felt his body fall in an embrace as he sat on the bed, and he couldn't resist his feeling of doubt still inside him. He sniffled while leaning back, but the minute his eyes met Zayn's, his tears flooded out again. "Zayn!" he sobbed and leaned back in on Zayn who carefully gave him soft pats on his back."I'm sorry." Zayn whispered to him and he felt a kiss pressed on his forehead. His emotions played around in his chest, but overall, he couldn't contain the joy that overflowed inside him.His head came back up again and he still couldn't believe Zayn was awake and staring back at him. His head fell with wavering breaths and he gave Zayn's hand a squeeze again. His head came up for the third time as he sniffled, trying not to break down again at the sight o

Zayn pulled his hands away from his laptop with a sigh and slumped back against the bed headrest. He reached for the anti-ray glasses on his face and pulled it off before giving his shut eyes a gentle massage. It's been nothing but work all week. He took one final look at the work he had rounded up and closed his laptop shut. "Finally," he breathed. The hand rested on his leg twitched and his eyes fell open to see Will still fast asleep next to him. A soft smile came up his lips at the new habit Will had built up. His hand always had to touch a part of Zayn while he's asleep."Is he scared I'll run away or something?" Zayn mumbled to himself, yet he couldn't help but find it cute. He's been doing that since they left the hospital.Placing his laptop carefully along with the glasses on the bedside desk, he left his lamp on and turned back to Will with a smile. With his head rested on his palm, he couldn't help the butterflies in his stomach as he stared a hole at Will who had let

He went and said it. He really did say it! Will screamed internally as he walked out of the room, too frightened to see the look on Zayn's face. Otherwise he might just decide that he gets his reward immediately. He could hear the nervous murmurs between the staffs and he felt bad for making them worry. Hanna saw him coming out and she rushed up to Will. "Will, I'm sorry, did you find anything uncomfortable? Was the lighting too strong for you?" "No, it's all good. I just got a little nervous. I'm sorry for inconveniencing you." "No please, it's fine. We're just glad you're okay." Hanna sighed, her face relaxing now "You can still take a break if you want.""I'm okay, so let's try it again." Hanna nodded "Alright, but if you need a break again just let us know." "I will." he smiled. He wouldn't be needing that though. He went back to the spot they had positioned him a while ago and his eyes shifted to the side. He watched Zayn walk down to a couch they had set out for him and
