Doctor Hardy checked his time and wondered why Daniel hadn't come home since he was spending the night at his place. He knew that Daniel did not like staying out late so he called him again. As Daniel picked up the call, his anxious voice said to Doc, "I have an unconscious lady with me and I'm currently driving her to your hospital. Please meet me there."Doc became alarmed, "Did you get into an accident?" "No, I didn't," Daniel replied, "Please come right away, I will explain everything." Doc replied "okay," before rushing out of the house and driving to his hospital. He had taken a week's leave in order to spend more time with his best friend, however, it wasn't even up to three days yet and Daniel had already dragged him back to the hospital. When Daniel got to the hospital, he met Doc already waiting for him. Ivy was immediately taken in for treatment. As Daniel took his mind back to the scene at the cliff, he shuddered at what could have happened if he had dallied. Someone al

Ivy stared at Daniel as she asked “What would you like me to help u with?”Daniel was just about to tell her when Doctor Hardy came into the house and said “Wow!! u guys started eating without me?” He rushed to the dining and said “I feel so hungry.” He called out to the maid to serve his own food.As he took a morsel into his mouth, he said to Daniel “I need to tell you something important.”“What is it?” Daniel asked. He smiled and said, “When you are done eating.”While Daniel was still eating, however, Doc sent him a text which read “I have found someone for you, so your problems are about to be solved.”Daniel's phone beeped and he opened it to see the text message Doc had sent him, he stared at Doc in surprise and turned off his phone. When they were done eating Ivy asked Daniel again, “What was it you wanted me to help you with?”He smiled, “I will tell you about it later, okay? There is something Doc and I need to do. Come with me, let me show you to your room.” He took her

Ella kept staring at Doc in surprise since she heard him say that Ivy was the one Daniel wanted. Although Doc did not go ahead to tell her about Daniel's plan to have a temporary marriage, because it was meant to be a secret, the only way she would have known was if she was going to be his bride. Even Anna, his girlfriend, didn't know about it because he didn't want her to tell Ella. The news might get out from there, and Daniel might not be happy about it if it eventually got to his parents or the press got to carry it. That was going to be bad publicity. As Doc excused himself and left the both of them, Ella began to cry in front of Anna. "Anna, what is going on? I don't understand, is there something I've not been told? How could any man in his right mind pick that Ivy over me? I am single, fresh, beautiful, educated, classy, and from a good home, and that Ivy...... She's someone who was ditched by her husband. She's filled with bad luck, she's not beautiful, and she's an illitera

Daniel began to spend most of his time in his house where Ivy stayed. He found himself drawn to her and time seem to pass by whenever she was by his side. For Ivy, it was a job she needed to put in her best in order to make Daniel happy. She did not entertain any funny ideas as she knew that their arrangement was a temporary one.The day finally came for her to be introduced to the king and queen. She was so nervous, especially because she knew she was going to lie to them, everything was an act and one wrong move on her part was all it was going to take to expose her. She imagined herself being thrown out of the palace by the king after he discovered she was lying to him but she did not share her fears with Daniel. When they came out of the house, Daniel noticed Ivy's facial expression. He turned her so she could look at him and asked, “What is it? Why are you so tense? We've had three months to plan this so, what is the problem?” She shook her head, “Nothing, prince Daniel. It's

Anna told Ella about what transpired between her and Ivy and how everything had been ruined. Ella was so upset, "How could Prince Daniel take her side so easily? I don't understand, and you're telling me that he doesn't have feelings for her?" Anna said, "Yes, he doesn't. Even from his statement, you could tell that he felt pity for her. He said she had been through so much, and he wasn't going to allow her to be maltreated again."Ella sighed, "I can't bear this anymore. Now you can't stop me from going to tell the king. I'm very sure that if he knows, he will not let this marriage take place. I traveled out for a few months, hoping that Prince Daniel would have come to his senses but I'm seeing their pictures everywhere?""Well, okay, go ahead and do whatever you want, but as I said, 'do not let it affect my relationship with Hardy in any way. If you do that, I will not forgive you.""Don't worry, I don't plan on doing that," Ella said.Ella waited outside until Daniel had driven o
