Chapter 50
Week 1The next morning...“How was sneaking out to spend the night with Ichiya?”“Were you stalking me?”“No. And one piece of advice, if you want to do it again without me knowing, then wash off his scent before you come back.”“I knew I was forgetting something. Are you going to lecture me or whatever?”“No, that's your parents' job. I don't have any right to keep you two apart. At least tell me when you're going out, it saves you the trouble of sneaking out. Also, when are you going to tell him?”“I don't know.”“You should do it before you accidentally mark him. Believe me, it'll happen, and chances are higher during a full moon and when you’re in heat. Remember, you're an Oracle and because of your position, just like me, he has to move to the pack. We don't have options like other wolves. Speaking of heat, did you get those herbs from one of the healers before we left?”“Yeah, and do they have any side effects?”“No, all they do is mask most of the scent of your heat and help w

Chapter 51
Week 2The rain was getting her soaked, head to toe. She looked at Takumi and he was too. But he also looked upset. She tried to ask him what was wrong, but no words came out.“I'm sorry.” He said. “I can't do this anymore.”He walked away with another girl by his side, and she had a smug look on her face. She tried to go after him but couldn't move either. It was as if something was holding her back. She tried calling out to him, but her words only came out in hoarse whispers that were drowned out by the rain. He turned to say something, but she couldn't hear it over the sound of thunder or her own crying. She couldn't tell whether her face was wet from the rain or her tears. She woke up startled. It took some time for her heart rate to slow down and return to normal. There was a knock on the door. She got up to answer it and there was Hansuke.“Hey. What's up?”“Are you all better today?”“Yeah, and you could've just called if you wanted to know.”“If you were anyone else, I would'v

Week 3“Am I still going to sleep on the couch?”“No, I think you've learned your lesson.”“Awesome. Are you free today?”“Only for the next hour and a half. Did you want to do something?”“There's someone I want you to meet. She's a friend that I met yesterday.”“Really?”“Yeah, I'm sure you'll like her too.”“If you say so.”“Why do I have a bad feeling about this?” Tis asked.“You're not the only one.”He took her to a nearby café and there was a girl already waiting for them. She was a 5'5 ravenette with emerald eyes and well... let's just say, she had way more going on with her chest than Twilight. In short, she was every guy's dream girl. To make matters worse, she was the same girl from Twilight's dream.“This is Matako, the friend I was telling you about. Matako, this is Twilight.”“Nice to meet you,” Matako said.“Same here.” She replied. An hour later...“Well, I have somewhere to get to in half an hour, so I'll get going. It was nice meeting you.” Twilight got up to leave.

Week 4“Do I look ok?” She asked.“What do you mean?”“I can't help but feel a little bloated today and I just want to know if I'm imagining things or not.”“Now that you mention it, you do look different. But I can’t put my finger on it. Oh, I know. You look more beautiful today.”“I guess it's just me then” She snorted.“Are you feeling better?”“Yeah. Can we go get cupcakes for breakfast?”“I don’t know if we should.”“C’mon, it’s just one or two.”“Then let's go fill you up with cupcakes.”Later...“I wonder how just one or two turned into five.”“And I wonder how you missed the sixth one.”“What am I going to do with you?” He chuckled. “At least don’t go on a cupcake diet.”“I’m tempted to do the opposite.”“I wouldn’t put it past you.”He sat her on his lap and kissed her.“Wait, I have a better idea.” She said.“Which is?”“Wait for me in our room and you’ll find out.” She whispered in his ear.A few minutes later, she joined him, and Takumi's jaw dropped when he saw what she w

Week 5She had that dream for the second time, but this time, there was the sound of a baby crying. Something told her to follow it, but she couldn't tell where it was coming from. When she woke up, she found herself being cradled in a pair of arms and was faced with a worried-looking Takumi.“Are you ok? You kept calling me in your sleep. I tried to wake you up, but you wouldn't.”“Yeah, it was just a dream.”A few days later...She went to meet up with Hansuke.“You know; you've been looking less like yourself these days,” Hansuke said.“That's what I wanted to talk to you about but promise me that you'll keep it to yourself.”“Ok. You have my word.”She went ahead and told him about the dream and everything that happened afterwards.“So that's why you haven't been yourself lately. But do you honestly believe that that dream is true? I mean, you know him as well as I do, probably even better, and that doesn't sound like something he'd do.”“I know and I don't believe that it's true

When she got home, she went straight to the bathroom before Takumi could say anything. After a few minutes, she got out with a bandaged hand.“Sorry about the mirror.” She told him. “Before I rushed in, did you need to tell me something?”“No. I just wanted to ask if you were alright.”“Oh, ok.” She nodded in understanding. She then went to sit down and huffed her cheeks.“Rough day?”“You have no idea.”“Was it necessary to use the mirror as a punching bag though?”“Believe me, I was doing you a favour. And I'll answer your question with another question. When were you going to tell me about you and Matako? Or was I never supposed to find out?” She showed him the pictures.“I...”“Say it isn't true. Please.”He said nothing.“So, it is. You know, I was so sure that it wasn't and that it was just a misunderstanding. But I guess it was just wishful thinking. If you had come clean, I would've somewhat understood, but you didn't and instead kept it from me. And don't you dare try to chan

Hidden facts in Book 1
1) The original title was “Winning the Luna’s Heart” and it’s a little obvious why I changed it ;)2) I started and finished the book when I was 16 (2019) on wattpad but took it down cuz it was a little cringe. It was only this year (2022) that I got a proper editor and made a lot of great changes3) Originally, Matako was never part of the story at all. They were going to break up but it was going to be caused by Takumi coming home late and drunk and then accidentally calling Yuri's name while he was having sex with Twilight. Yuri was who he was supposed to cheat on Twilight with. But I changed my mind.4) Yuri was never supposed to be nice to Twilight. She was actually supposed to try to steal Takumi from Twilight hence the reason for the first fact.5) Yuri was also straight and the engagement was supposed to be broken up because she got pregnant with her boyfriend’s baby6) Takumi was supposed to get a vasectomy but I realised that it’s fiction so I decided to play by my own rules
