Sweat dripped onto the floor from his hair that fell around his forehead as Ezra bent his back to fill his lungs with oxygen. His whole body was drenched in sweat and glistening brown. The sound of metal clashing against the concrete wall woke Mila up. Her curled eyelashes slowly opened and looked around the room to find the source of the sound that had disturbed her sleep. Mila's heart sank in fear when her eyes met the dark eyes of the terrorizer who was currently holding a knife tightly in his hand. Mila gulped nervously. She wanted to scream, but that surely would get her nowhere. She had an even better idea, to run as fast as she could out of her room before that mad terrorizer killed her.
