Esme's POV "Esme." I heard him call my name and take my hand in his so I opened my eyes. "Is what you're saying true?" He asked and I nodded. I mean who would even joke about something like that? Esme's POVEthan returned with the doctor and she officially congratulated us both on the pregnancy. Ethan asked if the baby was healthy and the doctor assured us that everything was fine. She told Ethan to take really good care of me as this is my first pregnancy and it might be hard for me, especially due to the stress I had undergone lately.She also gave a list of foods I should eat, some exercises and things not to do during my pregnancy. She said she would come to give me a check up every week and I should call on her instantly if I experience any bleeding or discomfort. Esme's POV I found myself in utter disbelief. "Get away from me, you vile woman!" Ethan suddenly screamed and pushed me off of him when I tried to kiss him. Did I do something wrong? Ethan's POV My eyes opened suddenly and I gasped, my breath rising and falling as my heart pounded against my chest. I blinked repeatedly and tried to move but that's when I realized that my hands were bound, no, chained to something and so were my legs. I looked back to see that I had been chained to the wall. Something tightened around my neck and I realized that a shackle had been locked around my neck as well. A pit formed in my stomach, pools of adrenaline filling that pit as deja Vu or rather, recollection began to hit me. Ethan's POV It had been seven agonizing days. The stench of the dungeon was unbearable and Ramine's corpse had reduced to bloated remains, clumps of green decaying skin littered around the dungeon floor, a work of the rats. The rats weren't the only problem as flies and insects clambered over the corpse. My vision blurred uncontrollably, my eyes were so heavy that keeping them open was torture. My stomach was churning and rumbling, my insides twisting painfully. Esme's POV I woke up in my bed, my head pounding. I sat up groggily and tried to get up but my feet felt cramped. What am I doing here in the first place? And where's Ethan?
