Lahat ng Kabanata ng His Chosen Mate- THE CHOSEN BEGINNING: Kabanata 131 - Kabanata 140

Adrian’s POV “I cannot even express how fer engulfed me when the black spots started taking over my vision. Realized that he got successful in his plan somehow and he was about to get me. At that moment only you were whom I could think of.” She said while keeping her head on my chest as we were laying on the bed after freshening ourselves and changing into fresh and comfortable clothes. Caressing her hair, I questioned my concern out, “Though, we said we will talk about it tomorrow, but I cannot keep patience anymore. I need to ask this, you were unconscious when we last saw you and he disappeared with you. Then, how come you escaped him?” Her finger drawing anything and everything on my chest halted at the question. She turned her head and sighed with a smile forming on her lips. “What do you think?” She questioned me with a smirk as if the trauma turned into something thrilling for her suddenly. Squinting my eyes, I stared into her eyes searching for what was running inside that l

Unknown Person’s POV Dusk settled upon the outskirts of the town, casting an eerie glow upon the desolate landscape. In the fading light, a figure emerged, navigating the overgrown path with an air of calculated determination. The mysterious girl, clad in a cloak as black as the darkest night, moved with predatory grace. A devilish smirk played upon her lips as she approached a dilapidated house, its windows shattered and its walls marred by the passage of time. The scent of decay hung heavy in the air, intertwining with the girl’s intent as she reached out to grasp the worn doorknob. With a swift motion, the door creaked open, protesting the intrusion. The girl’s back, straight and defiant, displayed an aura of malevolence that seemed to radiate from her very being. As she stepped into the abandoned abode, the weight of her purpose settled upon her shoulders, fueling her resolve. The room within was cloaked in shadows, broken beams of light filtering through cracks in the boarded-

Unknown Person’s POV Walking towards the room in the corner of the corridor, I grasped the knob only to pause at the clattering sound of the chains which had the wolfsbane polished upon them. A whimper came from behind the door, “I see, you are finally awake.” I said opening the door with a smirk taking its place on my lips as her eyes comes up to mine. Glaring at me, a growl left her as she fights against the chain. “Oh no, no, no, my dear don’t do that. You are only going to hurt yourself.” Walking towards her I said trying to sound sympathetic to her situation. Ignoring me she continued with her struggle while groaning and gasping in between due to ache. “Do you really think, you will get anything by doing all this?” She questioned gritting at me with her canines appearing visible to me. I chuckled looking into her once vibrant eyes turned into a dull one due to the endless tears, mirroring the pain she is enduring. Her once radiant face with powers and glaze, was now smeared wit

Devika’s POVWith a whimper leaving my throat, I stared at the mark on my skin left by the shackles. Willow has gone silent yet again due to the effect of wolfsbane which burnt my skin restraining me from using my powers too. My struggle against the shackles had made it difficult for Willow due to which I had been left with nothing but sitting idle and looking blankly at the wall in front of me.“I’m sorry.” My wolf whispered trying to save her strength.I smiled but felt bad for her, “It is not your fault, I should be apologizing instead. If I would not have tried so hard, we would not have such deep wounds, hurting you.” I replied her while gasping due to the stinging sensation as the wound gets touched against the metal of shackle. She chuckled at me, “Then it goes vice versa, if not for me you would have by now released yourself off these shackles.” I sighed as figuring out her to be right but being a part of each other we are bound to think of each other and face anything togethe

Devika’s POVMy hands trembled slightly, betraying my inner turmoil, as I prepared myself to cast a spell on the girl standing with her back to me. My voice though whisper, initially shaky, wavered as I began reciting the ancient incantation. Though, the words came out of my lips but they were in a faltering rhythm, lacking the usual confidence and authority it always had.The mystical energy I sought to wield seemed elusive as if slipping through my grasp like a fleeting smoke. And, it all made frustration tighten my features, but I refuse to yield. My brows came center as I concentrated once again after a failed attempt. I was able to feel the seat on my brow, dampening the hairline as I put every ounce of my waning strength into the spell. With determination, I collected the remnants of my dwindling energy and called upon the elements for aid. And, a rustle of wind around me attracted her attention and she turned around. “You are awake,” and when she saw what I was trying to do her
