Lahat ng Kabanata ng What About Love?: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Jeyah's POVI suddenly woke up when my brother was softly knocking on the door. I stood up and stretched my arms. I flipped the doorknob and opened it."Happy Valentine's Day, sweetie," my brother hugged me as he handed me two bouquets of flowers. One bouquet of pink roses and another bouquet of red roses. He stepped inside my room and sat on my bed. I sat beside him while holding the flowers."Thank you, boo. Happy Valentines'!' I responded."Uhm, why there are two bouquets, boo? I know these pink roses are coming from you, but who sent the red roses?" I asked curiously, smelling the sweet fragrance of the flowers."Hmm... someone delivered this a while ago. Why don't you read the card attached to it, so you will know, your secret admirer?" Andre spoke with a teasing smile on his lips. I'm sure he knew already who could be the sender.Yeah, I forgot the flower card. I opened it and there it reads,"Happy Valentine's baebubs. See you around."I smiled after reading the message, knowin

Darren's POVI did not know what came to my mind when I decided to be the escort of Jeyah at the Valentine's Party held in the UP campus. I had never done something like this before. I mean, it's always the ladies who asked me to be their escort. It sounds conceited, but that's true. It's because I never experienced admiring someone in my entire life. It's always me who is given much attention and it's always me who is adored and loved. That was all I ever wanted from the beginning. But since I met Jeyah, everything turned the other way around. I'm the one who is giving her much attention. I drove her home, I called her, and I even gave her a bouquet of flowers through a delivery. And most of all, I offered to be her escort at this Valentine's Party. I find all of these very unusual. And the fact that she is with me now gives me an overwhelming emotion. It's my first time feeling this way. Is this what they called 'love'? Until the sweet music echoed on the dance floor. I offered my

Jeyah's POVAfter my class in the afternoon, I fixed my things and bolted out of the room. I told Clarisse that I needed to go ahead and couldn't go with the group mates this time because my brother texted me, telling me that he had already booked a ticket for us to take our flight to South Korea."Oh, so you'll be out of the country for a while, bubs?" Clarisse spoke."Yes, bubs, we need to be at my mom's wedding or else she would be upset. I already asked permission from our professor, bubs, so I think there's no problem anymore. Anyway, I'll be out for only two days.Kindly tell our group mates bubs. Thank you," I said and then left, heading to where I parked my car. In my mind, it's better to stay away from Darren, even just for a while and divert my attention to other things so it's easy for me to forget him. I know I can do it. I need to do it because the feelings I have for him could never be reciprocated. After I settled the steering wheel, I started the engine and pulled my w

Jeyah's POVIt was the wedding day of my mom and I could see how excited she was. She smiles a lot while putting on her wedding gown. She was like a teenager who just started having puppy love while secretly giggling to the bone. Well, at the age of forty, I can say my mom still looks pretty and even looks younger than her age.At first, I didn't want her to get married again because I was thinking she would neglect us when she already have another family. But later, I realized I needed to consider her feelings of longing for a better half with whom she would spend the rest of her life. What matters to me now is her own happiness. And seeing how happy and excited she is now makes me happy too. I was standing outside the room while looking intently at the gay beauty artist who was doing my mom's makeup over."Are you okay, sweetie?" Andre suddenly approached me and encircled his hand around my waist. "Yeah, I'm fine, boo." I responded and smiled at him."Have you met Hyungmin?" he asked

Darren's POVI woke up when my alarm clock was ringing. It was already eight in the morning. I remembered, I have to pick mom and my sisters at the airport at nine, so I hurriedly jumped out of bed and grabbed my towel. I was not expecting they would be coming here. Well, my family has never missed my birthday ever since. Except for my dad, because he has been a busy person all his life. After fifteen minutes of a hot shower, I went out from the bathroom and got dressed in my polo shirt and blue jeans. Suddenly, I got a call from Messenger. I know it's coming from my group mates because I set a different notification for them."Bubs, happy birthday!!!" everyone exclaimed in chorus."Thank you!"All of them except Jeyah had joined the group call. I'm a little bit upset that she wasn't joining us. I had in mind, maybe she is still sleeping this time."Bubs, you looked so fresh!" Angela spoke."Uhm, I'll be going to the airport to pick mom and my sisters," I responded casually."Oh, I see
