Welcome to the Underworld, Wendell

Black clouds were hovering a lot in the sky. Thunder rumbled once or twice, scaring any creature that could be wandering nakedly on the open land.A carriage driven slowly by two, scrawny black horses with a gush of weariness on their faces, immediately halted and promptly startled Wendell who was inside, browsing a book with a black cover in his hands. Without moving an inch of his body, Wendell took in deep breaths. "Hope it goes well." Silently, he prayed, his eyes still shut behind the big spectacles. His figure suddenly shivered with regret running alongside his greeny, protruding veins. "I have to do this, you leave me no choice Amethyst. Making up for the lost time is what I'm looking forward to!" He hissed, trying to erase anything that was associated with Amethyst in his head. "CODE!" A husky voice demanded with passion at the driver who was wearing a black face mask, that assisted in keeping his features all to himself. "KATARAMÉNO FOS!"The driver's acidic voice confid

All Hail, The Decoy!

Vigorous applause of thunder was heard roaring above THEM. Wendell could feel Kieran's gaze falling upon him every time his name was called out by the enraged Goddess. "SHOW YOURSELF, YOU WRETCH!" A voice of a female thundered throughout the hall room— sending waves of aghast down both Kieran's and Wendell's spines. They exchanged alarmed gazes and only Kieran managed to swallow the lump that was dancing in his throat. "IMOGEN!"A flame-haired vampiric demon stood in the centre of the hall room. Both of her distinguishable structures that are used for locomotion [A LEG OF BRONZE AND A HOOFED FOOT OF A HORSE; AND A LEG POSSESSED BY HUMANS] —barely touched the ground. Recalling that extraordinary cold night Imogen had sworn to kill him and Amethyst when she found them, invited fright in Wendell's system that was somewhat assorted with indignation. Wendell staggered back, silently reciting a prayer that was helping with calming his nerves. "This is not the END! Curse you Amethyst…!"

Era Of Darkness, The beginning!

"MERRY-GO WE SHALL. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING— SPARE ME THE TEARS, MY LOVE. JOURNEY; HIDEOUSLY DARK AND FILLED WITH VENOMOUS THORNS. —ANTICIPATE; MAY WE?" •••After a long night of great suffering from darkness and waves of coldness, the beings of Castle Ephraim finally got rid of the dismal bee in their bonnets— about having a day of at least friendliness from nature as light and warmth showered itself over the wetland. A couple of meters away from the castle is an isolated, tiny cottage with smoke escaping from its chimney. Inside is Amethyst who was pacing nervously back and forth with Liam's words replaying in her head. "Your parents made a mistake producing you!"It was hard for her to obliterate his words as they whispered themselves in her ears for at least the millionth time now. They made a great spectacle of intruding in her thoughts— imbuing resentment in her system. Despair had already filled the cup of her dull heart— her way of reacting to this was screaming but her l

Pathway of Revenge!

"Dark the truth shall be; Follow your HEART and kneel before me. Escort your MIND out of the Hoovering clouds of Gloom— Let There Be LIGHT!" •••It was creepy there. The metal fence six minutes away from her feet had long been corroded. A shuddering figure of Amethyst promptly hid behind the two, huge dumpsters, placed deep in the lane. Everywhere around her was bleak— an angry family of clouds seemed to want to have a rendezvous high in the gleaming sky. Stars winked at her from the darkened abyss of the heavens. They were so luminous that it made her avert her glances away from them. Something did not seem to be alright at that point in time. Above it all, the pentagrams looked like scattered moondust in the night sky. They were blazing in silence upon the busy village of Droitwich. The occasional screams and the prolonged howls in either lamentation or cheerfulness faraway broke the silence in Amethyst's heart. To her, it was so sudden that the tranquillity was no longer envelo

dwelling with the dark side of revenge

["Different shall the truth come to you; A reminder that the Road is black, feel free to gallop away from me. Revenge I am. The born day of a Fey is yet to COME: I AM your darkest desire— the death of your soul! I AM Malbonte's Daughter!" •••"How should I entertain you?" Amethyst questioned in an outlaugh at the stranger in darkness. Without waiting for a reply, she shuffled forward to have a closer look at the creature that was feeding itself into the darkness. "This is no place for tales!" Words shot themselves out of the stranger's lips, accompanied by a harsh tone in his voice. Amethyst only smirked with her mind progressively digging itself inside a thought of unmasking the one behind the shadows. She knew who it was— she could not help but grin like a Cheshire cat the longer her eyes stared piercingly at the one in front of her. "Anything you want me to do master?" The red-haired woman who was behind Amethyst questioned, her hand placed tightly on her chest as she bend her

In love with YOUR shadow

One extraordinary day in the Norse kingdom was an agitated Liam in the chambers located in the depths of the palace. As soon as his ears picked up the sound of birds singing outside his door, Liam opened the window to witness the sun pour through the naked window. It was the second day of misery for Liam. Melpomene was nowhere to be found— rage was overtaking his system, encouraging the growth of censure upon him. Liam stood next to the window as he watched the golden fingers of sunlight lit up the Norse kingdom. The world seemed to be infused to shine and work and this endangered Liam's feelings for he did not know where to search for 'his dear sister'. Although his mind kept himself busy with the thoughts of Melpomene's whereabouts, his heart succeeded in portraying the 'last' memories he had with Amethyst. "She will come back!" Liam said with confidence whilst he shuffled from the window, with his upper body naked— glowing pale from the light yielded by the sun's rays. He clos

Be It Your Love, I am The Newborn Of Your Doom

[YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO LOSE YOUR POWER; WE'RE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY MY LOVE— COVER YOURSELF IN DARKNESS, AND I SHALL FIND YOU. ACCOMPANY ME IN THIS RUN FOR I SHALL SWIM THE HYMN OF THE SEAS FOR YOU!" •••Up ahead, in the sky, tar-coloured clouds quickly manoeuvred to gather a meeting upon the kingdom of Ephraim. The applause that came from the thunder rumbled across the earth, notifying creatures to imprison themselves indoors. For all creatures with wings, be it birds or any kingdom of winged beings, it was a must for them to fly away for nature was promising danger that could pull their wings away. Lightning did not take long to pierce through the ugly clouds. Gino's eyes painted themselves in the sky and silently watched nature ready itself for a premonition phenomenon to occur. Lightheart was mumbling words under her shaking breath. "HE'S COMING OUT! PUT….PUT HIM BACK! HE CAN'T COME OUT!" Lightheart screamed as she sprinted inside her cottage to find Liam's body cov

Don't waste time! Reach for her

A pair of grey eyes instantly opened as soon as the owner's ears captured the audible birdsong outside his window. Birds of different kinds sang their songs, not realising that they disturbed the tranquil Liam had lusted to have after a restless night. Visions of Malbonte cautiously, and victoriously haunted him throughout the breezing, long night. A hiss escaped from his cracked lips as he dashed towards the big, golden-framed windows to chase away the birds that were holding an event on 'his' windows. As soon as his mission was accomplished, he went back to his bed and sat down on it, hustled by a poisonous thought. "Melpomene knew of Amethyst's presence. Unlike me, she can sense those, who the journey needs— but…LORNA!" Liam calculated silently while his big, right hand ran over his head. An intense feeling of melancholy wrapped itself around his system after his head had put forward Amethyst's green eyes— those she had before coming to transform into her real self. "So twinkli

Uncover The Darkest Blind Truth

I SHALL FIND THE ONE; THE MIGHTY ONE TO HAUNT. LOVE ME FOREVER; KILL ME IF YOU MUST! I HAVE SUMMONED YOU, YOUR BLOOD FILLS THE CUP OF MY HEART JUST TO POISON MY MOON. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, I SHALL SEE IT ALL! •••{I CRAVE YOUR TASTE!}A tall, mysterious shadow stalked quietly behind Amethyst's agitated figure. Her eyes were coldly bloodshot— a moon had passed and yet she could not plot her next move on Wendell. Her heart was shuddering and shrinking with indignation that made her mute to another kind of emotion. A black hoodie stayed on her head because everywhere she went, her purple eyes met with posters containing her portrait and big, bold letters written on top; "WANTED". They were posted only in the parts of the village, where a tiny number of humans allowed other-worldly creatures to dwell in their territory— as long as they were in return, lured into a nest of delicate fantasies they yearned to swim in. It became clear to Amethyst that Wendell's force was becoming str

Hush dear, it's just The Beginning

[THE EARTH SHALL COME BETWEEN THE SUN AND THE MOON, BLOCKING THE SUNLIGHT FALLING ON THE MOON! WAY SHALL BE LOST; EMBRACE YOURSELVES— FOR I AM YOUR SHADOW OF DEATH!] •••The wind was rushing across the thick, squat trees that cracked every time Amethyst's feet took a step. In the meantime, the bright flashing lightning was lightening up the sky like fire sent by Gods—as if warning her from taking another step close to the house. Her gazes were fixated on the tiny house that had blinking lights publishing it as hunted. The last time she walked in, Wendell took some valuable items away from her. She saw visions of her mother— explicit visions. She waited without moving an inch of her body and studied the house. "I'm sure that Wendell would have killed me the minute his eyes laid on me. Where did the girl disappear to?" Amethyst silently growled in confusion. Blue funks instantly engulfed her figure, which was lamely contracting under the mysteries of darkness. She could feel eyes,
