Kat's POV As usual, there was no need to knock when we arrived at the Elder Council’s little cottage. Elder Alma stood on the front porch with her hands clasped in front of her, as though she’d been patiently waiting for us to arrive for some time. “Ah, you’re finally here!” She exclaimed as we approached. “I know Alphas are easily distracted by their Lunas but you three give new meaning to the word.” The guys just shook their heads and chuckled at her but I could feel my ears burning with embarrassment. “Since you’ve anticipated our visit, I assume you know why we’re here as well.” Ryan stated in his business-like manner. “Of course I do, and I’m just as anxious as you are to identify the threat.
