51. A good day

Lona's POV"What dress do you think I should wear?" I pointed to the seven dresses hanging on the hook and asked Alpha King.Alpha King thought for a moment and then spoke. "I think you should wear a white dress." It was the first dress that I chose.I felt that I looked good in this dress, but it didn't have any special points. If I wore this on the first day, I would probably drown in the crowd."Do you really think this dress is suitable for the first day?" I asked the Alpha King again."Werewolves tend to wear colorful clothes on the first day, I think if you wear this white dress, you will be the standout person in the party." Alpha King said."Are you sure I'm going to be the most outstanding and not the most different?" I looked Alpha King straight in the eye.Outstanding meant when I was the most different and still kept things in common with everyone, not when everyone wore work clothes, I wore an evening gown.I thought I'd better choose the safe option, after all, I was alr

52. The game

Lona's POVThough I was sure I was not mistaken, I was still surprised and bewildered because of their intimacy. Was it that I was dizzy? Was it because I thought about them too much that I created the illusion.Although I had seen Jack show concern for Rose when she was injured, the two of them seemed rather shy at the time.Did they become a couple?Curiosity made me take a closer look at them. They really held each other's hands tightly, they even looked at each other and smiled. They were very happy and warm together. When I was really sure the two people I saw were Jack and Rose, I quickly tapped Alpha King on the shoulder."You look." I said excitedly."Look what?" Alpha King vaguely raised his head to look at me.I pointed to two familiar figures in the distance. "Is that Jack and Rose?""Who?" Alpha King asked again. His vision was blocked by the crowd so he couldn't see the two of them."Jack and Rose." I said excitedly. "They are holding hands, I can see them smiling happily

53. Worry

Lona's POVWe returned to Pack House when the sun began to set, Alpha King had not had time to eat before he had to leave immediately, Jack had been waiting for him before.I didn't know where those two were going and didn't want to ask. I just hoped Alpha King got plenty of rest. If I had known that you would have to leave immediately, Alpha King and I would have gone home by now. Joining the festival was really fun, but the Alpha King's eating was more important.Only when he ate well would he have good health to work effectively. After placing a kiss on my cheek, Alpha King took his fur coat and went with Jack.I smiled and said goodbye. After saying goodbye to Alpha King, I sat alone eating noodles that I cooked myself.Normally I ate alone a lot of times. My parents would often go out to eat with friends on weekends, when I was at home, eating only simple food. Since I came to Pack House, I also ate alone many times, the maids would not eat with me when Alpha King was often away.

54. He was in a battle

Lona's POV"No, I'm sure the two of them won't be in any danger. If they do, they'll make it through." I once again comforted myself.Alpha King would often face danger. As his mate, I had to get used to this. My anxiety didn't help Alpha King, on the contrary, it distracted him."No, my hunch is never wrong." Rose shook her head as she spoke. It was the first time I saw her in such a panicked expression. She always acted like she wanted to be Alpha King's mate and always gave me a hard time but I had never seen her really lose her temper when she completely lost her chance to be with Alpha King.As I thought, she didn't love Alpha King at all, she just had a little interest in the position next to Alpha King."Have you talked to your father yet?" I asked Rose. Her father was Beta of the pack, he certainly knew what the Alpha King was doing."He's not at home, he's been gone since last night and hasn't come back yet. He's probably also with Alpha King and Jack." Rose said, panicking.

55. They're coming!

Lona's POVI carefully observed what was in front of me. There were many werewolves lying on the ground, there were also many werewolves fighting. They fought fiercely, seemingly using all their might. This was a real battlefield, if they didn't use their full strength then what they would face was not only defeat but also danger to their lives.Alpha King was surrounded by many werewolves, their appearance was very fierce. I couldn't see Alpha King's whole body, only his arms. His hand has a lot of wounds, there was a large wound that was bleeding profusely. If he didn't need blood in time, he would faint from blood loss, or worse, die.I couldn’t see Jack and Rose's father anywhere. Where were they? Not only did I see Alpha King fighting a pack of wolves, I could clearly hear the sounds Alpha King and his enemies made.I was afraid to cover my ears, the sounds in my head made me unable to calm down. I couldn't just sit here and wait another minute. The enemy's force was very large,

56. The battle

Alpha King's POVJack had found the place where the suspicious werewolves were hiding, so we must go there once. That place was called Haunted Ground, one of our important enemies resided here, they called themselves Sun Soldiers. They had caused a lot of conflicts among the werewolf packs.I suspected that many people in power in the werewolf packs were related to this organization, or were even the leader of this organization. If I couldn't get rid of all the elements of this organization in my administration, I wouldn't be able to sleep well.In addition to this organization, there were still many underground organizations that destroyed the social order of werewolves. I would gradually find them, and control my government in the best way.The purpose of this trip was to gather information, that was why I didn't bring too many guards. If we went too far, we would be easily spotted. After they said goodbye to Lona, I left with attachment. I often had to deal with problems related to

57. Wait

Lona’s POVI sat on the sofa all morning. Ken said that they found Alpha King and that he was not in danger of life, but since I hadn't seen him with my own eyes, I couldn't rest assured. Ken had arranged for Alpha King to stay at a hospital quite far away, when his health was better, he would return.I really wanted to find ALpha King, but now there were many eyes on me. The big festival of the year was going on, if Alpha King and I both were not available in Park House, everyone would be confused. Moreover, if I went looking for Alpha King right now, the bad guys would find him. Alpha King's protection force was very large, but he was seriously injured, so it was difficult to avoid many people who wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to cause trouble.I absolutely couldn’t let the information of Alpha King being seriously injured be exposed.Maybe Alpha King couldn't show up to hand out the wreath to the best dressed at the festival, I would be your replacement. Before that,

58. In his arms

Lona's POVWhen I woke up dreamily, someone was stroking my hair. Instinctively, I raised my hand to push the person away. I said while I was sleepy. "Don't stroke my hair."My hand was grabbed by a pair of strong hands."Let me go." I said annoyed.Although I felt very uncomfortable, I still did not want to open my eyes. I slept very late last night so I couldn't get up early. It was really just an excuse because even though I didn't sleep late, I didn't want to get up early in the morning, especially on cold mornings.Being in a warm blanket and having to wake up was an unpleasant experience.A few seconds passed, my arm was still held tight, now I felt really angry. So angry that I was more awake.I realized I was at the Blue Sea pack, not at home. No one here dared to make fun of me, except Alpha King.If I was not dreaming, that meant Alpha King had returned.Thinking of this, I jumped up in surprise. Looking at the man in front of me, I raised my hand to rub my eyes several tim

59. Hobbies

Lona's POVHolding a wreath meticulously created by artisans in the Blue Sea pack in my hand, I was deeply moved in my heart. This wreath would be given to a girl who was the best dressed in the main festival. The results weren't there yet but I was sure it wasn't me. I even only attended one day of the festival, so I didn't qualify for this award.Looking at the wreath in my hand, I really felt nostalgic. The gold wreath was exquisitely made, it was the combination of soft lines that created the most vibrant shape of the flowers.Alpha King sat on the edge of the bed, looking at me.“If you like that wreath, I can have someone make you an identical one.” Alpha King said sweetly.I looked at the wreath and then back at the Alpha King, shaking my head. “This wreath is an honor for the best dressed girl at the festival. If you make an identical wreath and give it to me, the meaning of this wreath will be lost. I can't take that girl's honor away. Not only will this hurt the girl, but t

60. Happiness

Lona's POVActually, Alpha King getting injured was a bad thing but after he got injured, we spent more time together. We didn't argue over petty things anymore. Just thinking about his injury I could forgive everything he did, of course Alpha King did not do anything wrong to me.Being together made me and Alpha King understand each other better, I knew the worries that he had to face every day were a lot, and also knew that in the future I needed to work hard to become the woman next to him.We had time to watch the moon together, walk together, and sometimes we would read books together. In just a few short days, he and I were able to experience a lot of things that I thought we hardly had time to experience together. The festival was still celebrated with great pomp. Alpha King had to hide the fact that he was injured to avoid unnecessary trouble.“Alpha King, come down here and see what I cook for you!” I mind linked with Alpha King to call him downstairs to enjoy the food I cook
