Astrid's POV:It must be because of the silver that I was feeling so lethargic. But I pushed myself through the pain and carried myself behind her. Lillian touched one of the doors and it glowed with a yellow light in it. It slid to the left and I saw a small passage to get to the other side. "This. We can escape from this passage. It leads straight to the sea and there is a boat. Let's go. " "Lillian, are you coming with us too? " I asked. "Yes, I don't want to stay here with these monsters. And they won't leave me alive after you are gone. " She said. I knew she was actually right about the whole situation and I needed someone to be with me because of the kids. We made our way into the dark passage and she lit up one candle in her way. It was not enough to see clearly but still we were able to keep going without getting hurt. I held Emma's hand tightly in mine. She had not spoken a word till now. Maybe she was too scared to say anything. The sound of our footsteps echoed in

Alpha Dominic Knight's POV:I mind-linked with Beta Alexander who had been waiting for any sign from my side. With quick steps, I walked out of the woods and my horse led me out of there. My mate was pregnant! Astrid was carrying my child again and I didn't want to miss out on the beautiful moment this time again either. I would bring her back into the pack and protect my family from everything which was aiming to harm us. For now, it was Salem and Kathleen in partnership with someone. I would announce an attack on his pack and find my mate. He would die and there was no way I was letting him go. 'Why did the seer tell about the supporters? ' Carden asked. 'Maybe he has someone supporting him. There can be lots of people but I don't care at the moment. ''Neither me. 'He roared, possessively. I reached the pack house and Beta Alexander had already arranged the soldiers in the line to leave the borders. "We are ready, Alpha Dominic. " Beta Alexander informed me. "Great! We wil

Alpha Dominic Knight's POV:'Destinies once written are never erased. 'I waited for the soldiers to get the kids and Lillian back to the pack house and take care of their wounds. It took everything in me to choose my mate over everything. Even my pack and duty as an Alpha. The woods were quiet and a different war was going on in my head. The prophecy and those warnings meant nothing to me. If I were to die then it couldn't be escaped. Sunlight filtered through the canopy and casted shadows of trees on the land. I kept my kids closer to my heart. As if it was the last time, I would see them. I wanted to tell them everything. About wars. Training. Alpha duties. But there was not enough time to do that. Neither they could understand me even if I began talking to them. The men came almost within half an hour and secured the kids in the carriage. "Alpha, please return with us. " One of them said. I helped Lillian to get in there too as she was still out of her senses and had no i

Third Person's Point Of View: Her eyes were burning with anger and because of the fire building up in her. The sight of her mate lying on the ground lifeless and covered with blood and dust was enough for Malessia to turn feral. All the thoughts repeated in her head again. She had felt his body go limp under her paws, his blood staining her fur. She howled in anguish, a sound that tore through the night sky. She had lost him, her mate, her soulmate, the one who had promised to be with her forever. He had sacrificed himself to save her from the claws and fangs of their enemies, the ones who wanted to take me away. He had fought bravely, but he was outnumbered and overpowered. Malessia had tried to help him, but he had pushed her away, telling her to run and live. She had refused to leave him, and now he was gone. Only if he had not come to save her then he wouldn't be in such a state. She felt a surge of rage, a primal instinct that overtook her grief. Not just Astrid's, but her w

Astrid's POV:By the time we reached the pack, it had gone dark and everyone was eagerly waiting for us. The members cheered for us as soon as we entered the borders. I looked at Alpha Dominic proudly and he returned the same smile. The worst part was that we had to keep the secret of our daughter hidden from everyone. Nobody would ever know about her because she was just a month old fetus in my belly when the Moon Goddess wrote her destiny and took her away from me. "Long live Queen Astrid! " I was happy and shocked at the same time when the crowd hailed my name. "Queen? " I asked Alpha Dominic. "Yes, we conquered the lands under us. The title of Alpha king and Luna Queen belongs to us now. And it's all because of you! " I smiled and for the first time the victory seemed real to me. I felt the power within me. The energy of my wolf. It was still present in my body. Unlike other times when my wolf would vanish out of nowhere. I found my mom waiting for me at the entrance and I
