Aeryn's POV:I covered myself with the sheets and kept my mouth closed as I heard more commotion outside the tent. I had no idea what was happening there but I could only tell that it was not something good. After around an hour of waiting miserably inside the tent like a stupid child, I couldn't wait any longer. I decided to get up and check it myself. Carefully and slowly I stood by the entrance of the tent, I saw Alpha Dante putting chains on a wild rogue who growled at him. The air smelled like blood and smoke and a few dead bodies were lying around on the ground. I made my way to Alpha Dante who had put the restraints around the attacker's hands and neck. Alpha Dante lifted his head and watched me then frowned. I was about to tell him that I was here to check up on him when he jumped at me with his sword. I closed my eyes, waiting for the strike which would end my life. I didn't know why he was so angry at me now. I was wearing the panties too! For God's sake. But I felt

Aeryn's POV: We had to continue our journey after just one hour of break. Alpha Grayson had not allowed us to even talk to each other for the rest of the travelling when he caught us in the carriage wrapped around each other. Even after Alpha Dante had reassured me that he would not take any real interest in another girl but still I was very nervous and scared about this new place. I would keep my eyes focused on all the people around me so that nobody would be able to hurt me anymore. If it was such a huge Kingdom as they said, then there would be some smart people who would be able to identify that I didn't have a wolf. That could create problems for me because maybe they wouldn't allow me in the Pack. And I was definitely not leaving without Alpha Dante by my side. As we neared the Pack borders, my heartbeat increased and my palms began to sweat profusely. 'Calm down, Aeryn. It's going to be alright. ' I whispered to myself. The carriage came to a halt and I stepped out of i

Aeryn's POV:"I am Elrond. " The blonde haired guy introduced himself to Alpha Dante, without any smile on his face."I am Luciano and this is Orpheus. " The dirty blonde haired one said with same neutral expressions but the brown haired one smiled. Alpha Dante was so bad at pretending and i could see the struggle he had to undergo to give them a sweet smile. "I am Alpha Dante. ""Is it true that your men don't follow the rules laid by father? " Elrond asked, his eye brows raised slightly as he watched him carefully. Alpha Dante smiled, " Yes, because they are wild wolves. They follow the nature's rules. But that's what I am here for. After so much consideration, I realised that we needed to join the kingdom to get the authority of a real pack under Alpha King Dominic Knight's wisdom. " Well done, I thought to myself. He did give a pretty good darn answer to them and they seemed satisfied with it. "We are happy that you decided to join the training program. After all, it would ha

Aeryn's POV:I slammed the door behind me and threw the sandals I was wearing. My mood was at the worst phase I had ever been because Alpha Dante was literally controlling my life! I just had two rules in my life, first I would never allow a man to control me and second to not let love made me silly. But they made me a mute girl and then now I couldn't even talk to anyone else here even with the sign language. Whatever he talked about the people of the pack didn't match with what I was feeling here. I didn't think that they were bad people because everyone seemed so nice and friendly to help me around the palace. It was just my stupid mate who hated the guts of these people. He had to know and see with his own eyes that whatever Alpha Grayson told him wasn't the truth. If I couldn't talk to people and neither could I make new friends then I believed that I had nothing to do here other than sitting in the room all day. Something which was not going to happen ever."Open the window! "

Aeryn's POV: "Emerald! Stop. It's not what you think. " The guy shouted behind her but she was gone, giggling and screaming at around 4 AM by now. It took everything in me to not scream at the girl and ask this boy to stop her but somehow he understood from my face that I was not very happy about the situation. " I am extremely sorry for her behaviour. She's my sister, my twin. I am Aiden, Beta's son. She doesn't mean to bother you but she always makes fun of me so please don't get so worried about her. I will talk to her in the morning and everything will be settled. " It didn't make me feel much better but i didn't have any choice either. I had to get back to my room and sleep. My head was hammering and I couldn't keep my eyes open for another moment. "Are you lost? " He asked. Smarty ass. And I nodded. "I know dad had arranged the last Chambers for the guests, I will take you back to your room. But seriously you shouldn't be walking at night in the palace because it's not s
