The party hosted by the Alva Edison is a grand affair. The Nester king and queen are also invited. Tyson tagged along, mostly because of Valerie. He is still interested in Valerie, even though Hector advised him to stay away from his future sister in law.Alva Edison is a kind elderly dragon who is in his early sixties. Everyone are congratulating the newly engaged couple. While Liliana and Hector are busy with greeting and meeting the guests, Valerie tried to stay away from the buzz of the party. She is standing in one corner of the room and trying to go unnoticed. But that is easier said than done.

Valerie's mouth is covered by an iron like palm and her arms are twisted behind her back. Someone is dragging her away from where Blake is standing, and she couldn't do anything to alert her bodyguard. Her mouth is so tightly closed, that she is sure it is going to leave a bruise.Blake's back is facing her and her kidnappers are dragging her away faster than she could understand where they are taking her. When they are far away from Blake, her captors shifted into their dragon form and flew away, leaving the Alva mansion, and her family behind. All of this took just a minute, but to her, it felt like hours. Her life is becoming a distant and unreachable infront of her eyes, but she couldn't do anything to protect herself. Her heart is pounding loudly as the realisation of what is happening sank in. Irina is winning again.

In the Raven palace, Irina is happy. She received a call from the men she hired to kidnap Valerie. They informed her that the work is done and the Ernest princess is now their captive. "Cadmus, now she is back to being our captive again. Our bussiness will get on track again. I no longer need to worry about her to capture my son's attention again. By the time Raphael comes back from his tour, she will be a forgotten past. He will start thinking about other women. I can slowly push him towards princess Tasha. She will be the future queen of the Raven clan. Now it will be fun to see the pain of Arthur. Now he knows how his daughter looks and he spent some time with her and made some memories too.
