Landing at the Seattle airport Sarah heads straight to the event venue to first check everything and only then get to her hotel. Even though the event was still two days away, she had been a little nervous the entire duration of her flight. Being distracted these last few weeks meant her forgetting things. 　　Derek wakes up after the huge hit from the pills that he had taken the previous evening. Francis had managed to bring in some really good stuff. Derek was just surprised that not only had Francis scored such rare quality substance but also that he gave it to him at minimal rates. He knew Francis was doing this drug peddling only for money so he found that part a little strange but assumes it is because they have been friends for so long.　　Getting up from bed, he was surprised to find that there were still some remnants of the effects on him. Those pills had been quite potent. All he can remember of the previous evening is Francis coming over with a few girls to his place and them chilling together. Rest is all a blur in his head. For once he had not wanted any woman coming over. He had stayed away from them since his last discussion with Rose. He had wanted to do better for her and their baby. 　　Getting into his dad’s office, Derek is disappointed to find out his dad away from the office for a while.　　Not wanting to leave and come back later again, Derek decides to just wait for him in his office. So while he goes through the rest of the bids and proposals that were to go out in that week, he checks the ones already sent in over the last month.　　Finding more irregularities Derek feels angry with people working on creating these documents but more so with himself. 　　Taking advantage of his dad’s absence from his office, Derek hurriedly goes through his emails. He had a strong gut feeling that he might find something on the fund irregularities in his email. He did not think it was possible for such a level of fraud to be pulled in by a junior executive in the organization. It had to have been done by someone in control. Since he himself hadn’t even known about it, he had a feeling it might be his dad or else the CFO.　　Looking through the sent folder in his email, he tries to look for any suspicious approval emails. However, what he finds is a large folder marked separately in his mail. What was even strange was that all the exchanges were between his dad and someone with an unofficial email account. Who does business transactions on personal ID?　　As he starts going through the entire chain of emails, Derek feels as if the ground has moved from beneath his feet. While there was talk of business in those emails but they indirectly alluded to some
