Audrey took her place next to one of her men as the training began. Ron's Beta, Robert was around the same place that Ron was and they trained together. Carla took every opportunity to smile at Audrey and she tried to pay back the smile everytime it was flashed her way. They continued to train while her mind wandered often to Ron. His lean body and the dexterity with which he handled the sword, effortlessly, yet swift. She had stopped a few times and had taken a few seconds to watch him and when he had turned his head her way, she had pretended she was not looking his way. Ron was discomfited. He had to admit that of all the troubles he had had with women, being in the same place with his mate without being spoken to was the worse. He grew angry a few times over it and used his sword more ferociously until he was calm. She was doing so much to ignore him and he was not enjoying any bit of it.Last night after they had been taken to the place where they should lodge for the time they

While they continued to walk around the pack house, Audrey stopped suddenly."Carla, I had an invitation to a party that will be holding in town, at a werewolf bar, let us go together!" She invited with excitement. "Wow. That is just about the kind of distraction I need and I will like to come!" Audrey laughed, wondering what she needed to be distracted from. She was also relieved that they will not have to talk about finding mates and falling in love with mates since they had found a new topic of discussion. That was exactly what she had tried to come up with until she had remembered the invitation."The party is to hold tomorrow evening and you can come to my room and see which of my dresses will fit you if you did not come with yours," Audrey offered. She was almost of the same body build with Carla and she knew without doubt that her dress will fit Carla. Talking of dresses, she had many of them that she would not notice if one went missing everyday for one year. It was that muc

By the time Audrey and Carla shifted into their wolf forms and started to return to the pack house, it was late and Tim saw them safely to the pack house. They thanked him and went their way and he went back to the bar where he was sure something was going to happen.***When Audrey woke up the next day, the sun was streaming into her room from the tiny space between the curtains. She sat up in bed and rubbed her sleep swollen eyes. She would have to do all she had to do in preparation for the night party she was to attend with Carla at the werewolf bar downton later that night. She was up in a jiffy and started on her daily activities.**** Ron was again reminded of the invitation to the party that was to hold later that evening by his Beta, Robert. "You had accepted to be in attendance, remember that?" Robert had asked when he had frowned about the reminder."Well, I could not exactly say no, right? Besides, I had been in too good a mood to have declined the offer. I took it but

Robert watched in amusement for a few minutes before stepping out of the car."Why do you want to drive though?" He asked at last as he stepped out from the driver's seat and let him go inside."I want to drive because I feel in the mood for it." He replied stiffly. Robert wondered why he was infuriated but did not ask him. He got in the the driver's seat and Robert walked to the other side of the car. The ladies were silent back in the car as he stepped in. "You two ladies stun me. You are more beautiful than the mermaids if they exit!"Robert complimented the ladies again as he sat in the car."That's a lot, thanks, Robert," Audrey said while Carla giggled. Ron was seething inside. How come he was always disoriented when she was around? She had walked down there and he had felt different as she stepped into the car. Now he was going to drive to distract him from the riot in his head. He started the car and drove away. Audrey was still wondering why they were all headed the s

Audrey watched as the man took Carla up into the dancefloor and they began to twirl away. She was tipsy. She continued to laugh.Ron's eyes was on them. He was watching her and at the same time watching Carla with the austere gaze of his that always kept him from speaking. She did not mind. Each time his eyes rested on her, she leaned more into her dance partner even when the occasion did not call for it. She knew he did not like the show and doing what he did not like at that moment pleased her. She was going to keep it up."What is your name?" The young man asked her in the most seductive manner she had ever heard and she replied, slurring her words..."I am Audrey and what is your own name?""I'm Thomas but my friends enjoy calling me Tom. You can call me Tom too, beauty," he said.. she turned to look at him and he was biting his lips, his eyes on her breasts.. she felt hot suddenly. The other dancers had steadily circled them and she could no longer see Ron or Carla or even Rob
