Amberleigh knew that every girl dreamed of having a shopping spree at the designer stores with a credit card with no limit. Well today for her that fantasy was coming true. Amberleigh decided not to tempt fate and try the snails at dinner that night. Instead, she opted for some Ratatouille-that famous French vegetable stew- and a chicken dish with mushrooms, garlic, in a red wine sauce called Coq Au Vin. Despite Leo’s assurance that he was fine and dandy, Amberleigh could see the chef was still worried about his friend and doing his best to hide it. Leo seemed to zone out into deep thoughts that night and be quieter than usual. Usually when they cuddled and watched a movie, he was full of things to say about the plot of the chick flicks Amberleigh tended to pick.
