Abigail's povThe tweeting and chirping of forest birds filled my ears. Cool breeze blew against my skin, making me want to sigh in bliss. The soft matress I was resting on offered me so much comfort and I hesitated to open my eyes for a while. The distant sound of falling kitchen utensils suddenly made my eyes fly wide open. I frowned at the unfamiliar surrounding. I was surrounded totally by white colored furnitures, which made me panic at first. I soon realized I was in a gazebo-like structure that was attached to another wooden cabin. No wonder I felt so much air on my skin earlier. The smell of fresh grass filled the air and I greedily took in a deep breath, while admiring the scenery. From the white interiors of the gazebo, to the beautiful trees and flowers surrounding it. My stomach suddenly let out a rumbling sound and I decided to get down from the bed. Where's this place? Why is no one around? Am I dead or something? How did I even get here? All these thoughts attacked my

Abigail's povI bit back a groan as I did one final push up, before standing up and wiping the sweat from my forehead. I've spent a couple days here in the Burning woods and I think I was already starting to adapt to the changes.I usually come out here to an open clearing at the back of the cabin, to train and condition my body. I felt like there's just so much to be done and I had to be prepared. The gentle flowing of the little, clear stream nearby seemed to offer a soothing feeling to burdened soul. The rays of the early morning sun, shone down on my skin and I breathed in the fresh scent of flowers. I had been training here all morning...been doing that for the past few days. Although, I wasn't still sure if I wanted to use my scream again just yet. I couldn't explain my reluctance.I was doing some light stretches, when I paused to let out an exasperated sigh. "The both of you can come out now!" I called out to Hazel and White, who had been spying on me from the nearby bushe

Mark's POVI marched alongside fifty of my best Deltas. We were heading towards the Burning woods to get some answers. White wolf or not, there's no way she'd take on all of us that easily.I had three of my Alphas with me, Athena included. Cara wanted to come along, but I gave her a strong disapproval. She was expecting pups and was in no shape to be out on the fighting ground. I would have gone to ask Niolba to tag along, but the dragon hasn't really been himself since his last encounter with Hazel. The last thing I wanted to do was to make him face her again. Not after all those things she said to him."How's she doing?" I asked Athena as she came to walk beside me. I was asking about Cara." Very pissed. She's giving Bruno hell." She said, looking ahead at the direction we were going."We've got bigger things to worry about though." She said, a worried look on her face. I gave her a curious look."You don't think we can take her?" I raised an eyebrow at my sister, earning a scoff

You deceived me!" Benard snarled at the approaching warlock, Okiro. He was bound in heavy, enchanted chains, his arms spread out on the wall."Don't be ridiculous, Benard! You wanted power and that's what I'm giving you." Okiro casually said to the seething Benard."Power? I barely escaped with my life. The White wolf could have ended me right then and there." Benard hissed again."But he didn't." Okiro deadpanned.Benard looked down at his wounds that were slowly healing. Deep gashes and cuts that were seeping out dark blood. His organs would have easily been ripped out. He began to realize just how strong his opponent was...not like he didn't know before, it just became clearer."I want to be able to kill him." He said with gritted teeth."Patience, Alpha boy! The White wolf is not just any wolf. He taps power from a long, ancestral chain. Eventually, you'll defeat him but you must be patient." Okiro informed him."You were able to get some venom into his system, right?" He asked,
