Filled with extreme anxiety which evoked a sensation of contempt in me. In the midst of high status people who are ready to judge a low girl’s existence. “This feels like a dream.” I whispered to Tyler.Me, who was never in the eye of anyone is now the center of their discussion and the only thing they have to talk about is-‘How can Tyler marry someone like me?’“You are my dream.” He whispered back. Even though Tyler is a supportive husband, I still feel insecure. I know I shouldn’t pay attention to the words of people but the shred of stupid dignity inside me is hurt by their words.“I still cannot believe I am your wife.” I said shyly. My distressed gaze looked around to see but then I felt a hand over mine. I raised my gaze and saw Tyler, “Me too.”He said sincerely as we began to eat in silence while he was giving my hand an assuring squeeze. My racing heartbeat gradually slowed down. A sudden wave of serenity washed over me. I gained some courage to be myself and not feel i

“P-Please f-forgive me, Mr M-Moretti..” His begging sound reached my ears as my eyes cascaded down to see him crawling beneath my feet. I put my one leg over the other and leaned back, watching my men beating him up.“I-I am so sorry. I-I didn’t know she was your w-wife..” I then took out my gun and motioned my men to bring him close. I brushed the tip over his sweaty forehead, he was breathless, sweat mixed with tears gleamed down. I love indulging in this, every reaction I drew out from each victim, gave me pleasure.“You know what?” I began to say with my voice dangerously low as I moved the gun down to his neck, “I have asked Candice where you touched her..”“I-I didn’t do it on purpose… Please spare me some mercy, Mr Moretti..” He cried, trying to get out of their grasp. I stared down at him devoid of any emotion and put the gun over his hand, “From here…” I whispered and moved it slowly to his neck, feeling the shivers his body created, the horror engraved in his mind.“All

Tyler POV:- I was getting ready for work but then I received an important phone call, “Can you close my buttons, Love?” I asked Candice. “Sure.” She smiled and began to close the buttons of my shirt and attend the call. “Hmm. What?” “Sir, About the shipment to Paris-” I cut my informer off. “When I told you there wouldn’t be any shipment for France without my permission then who was dying to let it go?” “It was George, Sir. He gave us permission.” “Do you work for me or him, Idiot!?” I yelled in anger. “We are sorry, Sir. We will immediately stop the shipment.” I angrily cut the call, fuming with rage. “Tyler-” Candice called but I cut her off. “Just a sec, Love. I have an important call to make.” I said and then again called George. “Hello?” His voice came. “What was in the shipments of France?” I asked sternly. He took a pause and replied, “They were normal shipments but…” He hesitated. “But what?” I asked, irritated. “They wanted to allow the trade of guns.”

“Dammit.” I cursed under my breath and was about to leave for home but stopped and decided to have an ice cream before going home to cool my mind. I was enjoying my ice cream alone and trying to put all the bad thoughts aside. After clearing my mind a bit, I turned to go home but before my mind could register what happened, someone grabbed me from behind and pushed me inside a van. “What the- Mhm!!” I tried to yell but the guy put his hand over my mouth. I struggled to get out his grasp but his strength was stronger than mine. “Shut up!” He shut my mouth with a piece of cloth and tied my hands behind my back. “Mhm!” By grabbing my neck, he held me in place. I tried so hard to get out but all my efforts were in vain. “Shh! Don’t move if you don’t want us to end your breaths.” My lungs begged for air, a screen of tears blurred my vision but I had no intentions of giving up. “One move and you are dead.” I tried to speak but the cloth over my mouth sealed my voice. I loo

“They were my rivals, holding nothing but personal grudges towards me because I refused to trade with them.” I told her. “And who came to rescue me? Because I swear I heard your voice.” She said sternly. “That’s impossible, love, it wasn’t me. How am I supposed to know about your location anyways?” I shrugged, acting innocent. “But, it was yours.” “It could be similar, it’s okay but it was the police. They raided the place and luckily found you as well or else God knows where I shall look for you.” I ended with a sigh of relief. She listened carefully and nodded. “If you say so… You are right. How would you know in the first place..” She hummed. I passed her a faint smile and continued. “And that’s why I have assigned a bodyguard for you. I am not risking your life. And you will not argue with it, okay?” She chuckled and shook her head. “Yes, Sir.” I smiled and kissed her hand, “You don’t know how much you mean to me Candice. I love you so much.” I whispered sincerely. “
