SALLY'S POV The council of the elders of the supernatural and night-walking creatures stepped into the chaos. They ordered that the youth leave while they spoke to Alpha Derek alone, and after having a chat with Alpha Derek, they would invite them for a meeting. That was probably when Alpha Derek realized the case was serious. The youths began to leave in twos and groups, while some were hesitant for a while. The elders of the council of the night-walking creatures and supernatural had to insist that they leave. They did leave afterward and the elders of the stencil and night-walking creatures decided to wait for them to leave the place completely before approaching Alpha, Derek. "We have to discuss something very important right now, and we can't do it standing", the eldest among them said. "Let's go to my office", he replied. Alpha Derek took my hand and was about to leave when one of the elders stopped him. "Will she go with us?" He asked. "To discuss crucial matters concer

ALPHA DEREK'S POV "I did", I heard Sally's voice from behind and turned around to look at her. There was no way it was true, that Sally had thrown away my letter and I was busy blaming my domestic servants. "Did you? Or are you only trying to save them?" I asked Sally. "It's not worth it you know", I said to her. "I did", she replied and it didn't seem like she was lying. "Leave!" I ordered the servants angrily and they hurried away from my presence. "I am sorry", she apologized. "I didn't know that the letter was important to you, I saw it lying on the floor and I thought you were done with it, or it wasn't important anymore, I am truly sorry, I____" "Shush", I said cutting her short. "It was my fault, I didn't place it properly", I replied. "Yet", she was saying but I stopped her. "Yet I blamed everyone else but myself for the missing letter. I am sorry for keeping you under tension, it wasn't my intention to do so. I am sorry for blaming everyone but myself, I am sorry

ALPHA DEREK'S POV The third day had passed, and yet there was no news from the three people I have placed in charge of the accounts. I have been trying to cover up for them. The people and the elders have been asking questions. I was no longer myself, I was getting in and lane, and the issue was killing me gradually. I promised to display the account on a flat screen for the elders to see on the third day, and it was finally here, yet I had nothing ready for them to see when they came. The figures on the rough sheet, the opening balance, the trial balance, and the main figure in the account weren't corresponding in any way. I lay in my room worried, Sally had left the house with Sarah to get a few things for the house. I had insisted that she stayed back and let the servants do their job, but she insisted that she was bored and that she wanted to go with Sarah. I didn't want to argue with her, and I didn't want her to feel as if I was imposing things on her as well, so I decide

ALPHA DEREK'S POV "You have failed us Derek, you have failed us as people. We do no want your greetings until you have delivered the the book of accounts, and everything has been restored back to normal", one of the elders said to me. "Yes, we want to see your book of accounts, we want to know what is happening. Why have the foreigners stopped supplying water? Food? Why is there scarcity? No regular electricity? They have not been paid or what?" And another elder asked me. I signaled my assistant and the accountant to come out with the book of accounts and my accountant stood up. She opened her bag and brought out three big book of accounts. She placed it on the table and sat back on her sit. I picked up the book of accounts, my hands were wobbling but I tried to control it. I have never been in this kind of situation my while life. This is really stressing me out, and I couldn't wait for it all to be over. The eldest among the elders took the books from me. Others gathered a

SALLY'S POV I waited and waited patiently for Alpha Derek to return from the meeting, but it seemed like it was taking forever. Whenever I would hear footsteps from outside the door, I would get excited only for my hope to fall. I was getting bored staying all alone in the room. I would have gone to Sarah's room, but it was late, I may be bothering her, also alpha Derek may not like it. He may not be too comfortable with my over-closeness with Sally but wouldn't know how to come out with it and tell me. I would lie in bed, roll around, stand up, pick up my phone, and drop it. I did a whole lot of things, including counting one to one hundred up to five times, yet alpha Derek was nowhere to be found. I wasn't feeling sleepy one bit. Even if I did feel sleepy, I wouldn't sleep without alpha Derek. I wanted to open the door for him when he would return home, read his facial expression, hug him, and hear him out in case he needed someone to talk to. I also wanted to talk to him, but
