Next morning, Manik and Nandini were sleeping peacefully in each other's embrace, forgetting the world. The sun raised a long back but the rays failed to sneak into the room of the love birds, passing the thick layer of curtains. So, the room was still very dark.  They were disturbed by the ringtone of Manik's phone. First call went unattended as it didn't affect a single ounce of their sleep. Second call made Nandini stir in her sleep. She groaned and hid herself in Manik's neck as if it would save her from the sound. But it didn't go as expected.  When the phone started ringing once again, she couldn't sleep anymore. Being irritated she moved out of Manik's hold and tried finding the phone with her closed eyes. She managed to find the phone and picked up the call without even checking the caller's id. 

The sun had set a long back marking an end to the bright day. After a long intense love making session, Manik and Nandini slept for a long time being dead tired. Later Manik was the first one to wake up, he found Nandini sleeping peacefully in his arms. He pecked on her forehead before getting down from the bed. Manik picked up his trousers and wore them before walking to the terrace. He lit a cigarette while staring at the star filled sky. He was smoking lazily, being lost in some thoughts. His chain of thoughts broke, feeling someone’s touch. He smiled knowing it was none other than Nandini. Nandini got up a few minutes back and the first thing she noticed was that the other side of the bed was empty. She frowned not seeing Manik there. She hurriedly got up and wore Manik’s shirt which was lying mercilessly beside her. She blushed, looking at the unveiled state of the bed. She stepped out of their room and walked towards the terrace, guessing he could be there and she was right. S

Days were passing in a flow, so was Manik and Nandini's relationship. They were happy in their own little world. It was like other usual days. Nandini's college was closed due to winter vacation. Though Nandini had vacation, Manik was very busy with some projects, so he failed to take out time for her. But he was going to submit the project today, then he would be free. She was alone at home while her parents were out at work, so she gave leave to the butlers as Manik promised her to be back by 1. She didn't want anyone to disturb them when they spent time together after so long. Once the butlers left, Nandini decided to cook the lunch for themselves. She could have asked the butlers to make it before leaving but she wanted to do it. After cleaning her room, she started her work to prepare lunch. The day started like other usual days but it had something unusual in store for the too much in love couple. It was one of the lazy weekends. Manik was watching TV, sitting in the hall. Nandini walked down and saw Manik there, making her smile ear to ear. She walked near him and sat on the couch next to him. Manik showed eyes to her, gesturing to her to keep her actions in control. Nandini smiled sweetly at him. Before Nandini could react, Kabir came there as well and sat on the couch opposite Manik and Nandini. He called a butler and asked him to give cold water. Pallavi followed him and sat beside Kabir. "You returned home so early? Didn't you say you've to attend some important meeting?" Kabir let out a sigh.

The night passed and the morning sun had started to shine. A lot of things have changed along with the end of the night. Pallavi was trying to calm her mind and raging heart. She was sitting in front of the God's idol of their home as if she was seeking some help. Her mind was completely restless. She didn't know what to do to relax herself. After a long while, it seemed almost impossible for her to sit there anymore. Her head was pounding so was her heart. She felt the inner side of her head was tearing apart due to stress and pain. She might have felt better if she could grab some sleep but that was not possible at that moment. She had something more important to take care of which couldn't wait. Pallavi couldn't take it off her mind until she found a way out or did something to solve the issue.
