Lahat ng Kabanata ng Falling for Sakura: Kabanata 161 - Kabanata 170

When Sakura next woke, it was to Akira calling her name. “Hey, sleepyhead,” she said, chuckling with amusement. “It’s time to get up. It’s nearly lunch.”Sakura yawned and stretched her body. “Is it that late already?”Akira nodded. “Have you packed yet?”Sakura shook her head.“Want me to help?”Again, Sakura shook her head. “I’ll be fine.” She sat up and then slid out of bed. “I’ll just go and shower first.”Akira nodded. Before Sakura disappeared into the bathroom, her friend said, “By the way, Sebastian came to see you last night.”At this, Sakura raised her brows. “Sebastian?”Had he wanted to see her because he intended to tell her of his decision regarding her confession, or was it about what Daddy James had told her this morning? She assumed it was the latter since it was very unlikely that he and Darcy had already made up their minds about her proposal.Just to be sure, however, she asked, “Did he tell you what he wanted to talk to me about by any chance?”Akira shook her hea

A few minutes later, she got up and began exploring her room. Apart from the obvious, she noted another door, which she assumed must lead to the bathroom. When she opened it, she found she was spot on. The bathroom was exotic, designed in the Asian style just like the rest of the house. There was a large window that had a great view of the beach, too. When she came back out, she started unpacking and hanging her clothes in the closet provided. Once she finished some twenty minutes later, she thought about exploring the place a bit more.Outside in the hallway, she noted the other doors and couldn’t help but wonder who resided in those bedrooms. Of course, she had the feeling it must be the Princetons and wasn’t surprised she was put up in a room in close proximity to them, for safety reason she was sure. Although, she must admit there was no point in such precaution since they were on St. Thomas Island, a privately owned estate. The retreat was completely isolated, and security, she w

Once Michael was gone, Sakura shut the door and headed over to the bathroom to draw herself a nice cool bath. She even put in a good amount of aromatherapy oil. Gosh, it smelled nice, and she smiled delightedly, finding she couldn’t wait to get in.While the bath was being filled, she headed back into the bedroom to find her sleepwear. Because it was hot, she decided on a pair of shorts and a tank top. Heading back to the bathroom, she brushed her teeth, and by the time she was done, the bath was ready. Stripping herself naked, she eagerly hopped into the cool, aromatic water.“Ahh…” She sighed with pleasure. “That feels good.”She lay there enjoying the moment as her body relaxed. Of course, she consciously tuned out the sound of the storm echoing outside by occupying her mind with the thoughts of Sebastian and Darcy.Tomorrow evening at the beach house, she’d be meeting with the two men. Her stomach flipped at the prospect as her heart skipped a few beats. What will their answers be

When Sakura came to, it was to the deafening noise of thunder echoing loudly above her, which made her gasp out in fright. Her body tensed and jerked as she fluttered her eyes open, her heart racing. Once the clamorous blast died down, she could hear the howling wind and splashing rain. Her head felt dazed and numb, while her body felt heavy and strained. Her breathing was laborious as she tried to concentrate, to clear the fog that hung over her like a thick dark cloud, overshadowing the clarity of her mind and thoughts.Where am I? she wondered as she blinked a few times, trying desperately to focus.Sakura moved, trying her hardest to shift her body, but it was to no avail. She glanced down and noted her hands and feet were bound tight with ropes, as was her mouth with a cloth. Why am I tied up? What happened?Panic seized her and her head spun with fear. No, she needed to stop this. She shut her eyes, telling herself she needed to think clearly and calmly. Yes, she was bound, and

It was well past three in the early hours of the morning, and the Princetons, their guests, and staff were gathering in the living room for the second meeting after a fruitless search of the island. While the men once again went through areas on the map where they had searched and discussed where to go next, the women sat in a group on the other side of the room.Haruka was distraught, her eyes red from crying. Her slender body trembled as she silently prayed for her daughter’s safety. Beside her sat Akira, who, too, was worried sick for her friend’s safety.“We’ll find her,” Brenda said, patting Haruka’s shoulder. “Sakura is a strong girl. She’ll get through this.”Mary, Katherine, and Beth nodded firmly in unison.Mary said, “If anyone were to get through something like this, it’ll be Sakura. She might not look it, but she’s a survivor.”Katherine agreed. “She is,” she said as she gently stroked Michael’s hair, who was sound asleep, his head resting on her lap and a blanket over his
