[Clayton POV] Since Joshua saw me matching Ellen’s ward he was changed into another hospital. Apparently, I would have done some stupid thing if he hadn’t been moved. And I wished I had done that stupid thing, because now the same Joshua is telling me and my wife that the monster that put her through hell might get off with just a slap on the wrist. “Okay, Leah is resting, tell me you have a plan to counter this,” Joshua doesn’t reply, I know it is because his hands are tied. “I am sorry man, we might not have a way out of this,” Joshua says. “But we will try our best he is locked up okay, we can apply for the appeal to his sentencing after that,” Evelyn says, “I spoke to your uncle about this, and he will try and get his other friends who are in the industry to help out.” This seems like it doesn’t want to end, nor does it want to end well for us, whatever lucky star that fool was born under must be destroyed. “But we were able to get Mrs. Mule off obstruction of justice charg

[Clayton POV] I looked at her eyes, they were red, she had been crying, I know this is probably the hardest decision she has ever made, but it is the wrong one. “No,” I say firmly, she has to have lost her mind if she thinks I am going to even let her go. “Please" she plead, "I am no good for you Clayton, you deserve so much better.” “I get to decide what I deserve,” I reply coldly, I feel so angry, she is hiding something from me and instead of telling me she is choosing the highway. “I am a disgusting woman, you are too great to even be with me, I have scars all over my body, I was assaulted, and I am filthy....” “Shut up,” I shout, I hate this having to argue to her about this. “I do not care who you are, but you have no right to talk about my wife like that, she is an amazing woman." I speak angrily. "She is a survivor, she is really kind, the most beautiful woman in this world, the kindest the sweetest and she is the smartest woman I know, she is even greater than I coul

[Clayton POV] Kaleah takes a deep breath, I can feel her hands tremble, “I…. um… I am pregnant.” The room is first silent, they are probably adding two and two together, grandmother opens her mouth to speak but she doesn’t. “Congratulations,” Conan says. “The father…...” Cyan tries to say but I cut her off at once. “We don’t care about that, we are keeping it,” I say firmly glaring at her. Conan doesn’t seem to care but grandmother on the other hand looks too shocked to even speak. “Grandmother?” Kaleah says, almost in tears. “Oh… Oh… child, don’t, I didn’t mean, I am just shocked, I will not be against anything that is your two’s decision okay,” she finally says, standing from where she sat to wipe the tears off her eyes. “Hey… we will support you okay, you do not have to be scared.” Melisa says; Cyan also walks to hug Kaleah. She cries as the two women hug and console her, maybe I should have told them sooner, because she would have gotten the support sooner. “Hey Clayton

[Clayton POV- Earlier that day] Cain had come to my office later telling me there was someone here to see me. Suzy Boyle here looking disorientated, Conan is quite fast with implementing things, for her to even come only two hours after Conan filed the lawsuit. “How can I help you, Miss Boyle?” I asked sarcastically knowing very well why she is here. “I…... I…… I got a call from the mental health association,” she mutters softly, still trembling. “Oh… is that so?” I ask still acting oblivious, “what does that have to do with me?” “I was told that you filed a complaint about my misconduct.” “Did I? I wonder why, you were an amazing therapist, slut shamed my wife for being sexual assaulted masking it as advice,” even speaking about it now makes me angry. “I … I apologize, that was not my intention, I just wanted to give advice to her. But they are going to take my license, I will lose my job, please sir don’t do this.” “Why? So, you can continue to shame other sexual assault su

[Kaleah POV] I was now two months pregnant, 7 months to go, my morning sickness had just started, and I curse the days I thought mother was exaggerating when she called morning sickness the wrath from hell. “Are okay now?” Cyan asked, we had not resumed our art shop preparations, it was going to open just after I give birth, but he had chosen to sell some pieces online before the physical shop opened. But due to me puking my guts out all morning, our preparations were halted as well. “I am sorry,” I speak, “I really think I am going to die.” “Please don’t enlist the fear of having kids to me, I am very looking forward to giving birth to a cute freckled ginger,” Cyan says. I could only smile bitterly, I also really would want to give birth to a brown eyes' cutie, be as strong willed as his father and maybe have my artistic abilities. “Hey, don’t give me that, you and Clayton are going to have more kids,” Cyan says. “I doubt,” Clayton and I’s marriage has been lacking a lot of i
