Naya's povIgnoring raiden's numerous screams, I dashed into the dark forest, going after the wolf. I continued running until I could no longer tell where I was again. "Um...wolf?" I called out, knowing fully well that I sounded so stupid. I didn't remember that wolves can't talk, and even if they could, I was sure that the one I was going after couldn't.The rain still hadn't stopped, so it was pretty hard to see where I was going. I could no longer hear raiden's voice again. Things were becoming scary really fast, but it seemed like I couldn't retrace my steps again. I turned away from the tree that I was standing in front of, and I tried going back, but everywhere suddenly looked the same."Is anyone around? Help!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, but I was answered with the chirping of a few birds that looked like they were mocking me.God, what have I gotten myself into? I asked myself, while trying to think of what to do. It seemed like I was the only one in the world. Even th

Naya's POVThe forest was getting thicker and the day was getting darker, even though I could swear that it wasn't even evening yet. It felt like the universe was against me. The whole atmosphere was so cool, but instead of it to make me feel better, it was doing the opposite. It was giving me a feeling, one that wasn't good.I scanned everywhere with my eyes, but I could see nothing but wet leaves, tall trees and a few birds. It was so weird. I was the only human stuck in the middle of a forest that probably had things that could kill me in a matter of seconds. Just thinking about that sent shivers down my spine. I just hoped my situation never had to get to that stage, because I didn't have my Zach to protect me."If I die today, I love you Zach," I whispered to myself, while trying to clear the little bushes in front of me. I was sure that I probably didn't mean any of my words and I just said that I loved Zach because I wasn't sure if come out of the forest alive. Loving Zach was.

Naya's POVI was gone, I really was. For a moment, everywhere was dark. Two seconds later, I saw that I was in the middle of a field, a big one. I was alone there, I couldn't see anybody. it felt like I was the only one in the whole world, in MY world. I started looking around, but I didn't see anything, but weeds and a few hays here and there. I was stuck, I couldn't move. The world was a field and it didn't seem like I was going to leave there anytime soon.I tried moving my legs, but I looked down to find them rooted to the soil. It was so sticky. I tried pushing my legs out with force. When I tried that, I fell down flat on my face. It was so annoying, because my face was literally in a puddle. After cussing at the universe in my mind, I tried standing up. I did, but the view I was welcomed with, almost made me fall down on my face again. This time, I wasn't in a field. I was at the edge of a cliff. Everywhere was dark this time and I could barely make out the remaining part o

Naya's POVTwo days? I instantly squinted my eyes to hear the man properly. Did he just say that I've been in his house for two days? No, that can't be possible! It can't!"Sorry, wha-" I started saying, but at that time, my eyes started feeling weird. I held on to my head, but it didn't work. The man stretched his hand forward again, and without arguing this time, I took the cup and downed the content at a go. Before taking it, I thought it was water, but the bitter taste staying at the top of my tongue, told me otherwise."What was that?" I asked the man, while trying to look at the cup. I could see tiny drops of black substance at the bottom of the cup, but I couldn't make out what it was. I gripped the cup firmly and I started moving it to my nose to smell it, but before I could do that, I was stopped by the man's hand.He snatched it from me and kept the cup many feet away from me. Even though I had no strength to argue, I still wanted to know what I just drank. "I need to know.

Naya's POVThe man continued leading me into the house, but my mind was no longer stable. I didn't know why I was feeling so many chills, getting scared of the next day. What could be the relationship between the man's son and I? Most importantly, why did I care so much about him? It was weird, I was weird and I couldn't hide it. I placed my hand on my chest to balance my breathing, but it didn't work. After a while, I held on to a wall, while watching the man walk into a corner of the house. I shut my eyes for a while, while balancing my breathing. I was feeling so overwhelmed, but I didn't know why. It was weird and I hated feeling that way so much.I did that for about a minute. After that, I was okay and I followed the way the old man passed. I wondered why he didn't even notice that I was no longer behind him.The plan to run away from the old man's house kept on ringing in my head, but I knew that I had to stay for the meantime to at least, get some answers and thank him, becaus

Naya's POVIt was a box, a brown one. It was a big one and it looked like it had so many things in it. I turned around and I started walking towards it to check what it was. I was about to get to it, when the door suddenly swung open. I turned around instantly, to find the man standing at the door, with a small frown on his face. I really hoped he wasn't aware of what I was about to do.I looked at the man again and I saw that the frown was gone, and it was replaced with a small smile instead. "I can see that you like the clothes," the man said and I looked down to see my right hand clutching onto the hem of the bright coloured blouse."Um, yes. It's okay." I replied and he replied with a small nod. He started walking towards it. I didn't know why I subconsciously backed away until my back touched the wall. "I have a question!" I said and the man stopped in his tracks, with a slight turn of his head."Where did you- how did you get my size? The clothes." I asked nervously, while point

Naya's POV The question kept on ringing in my head for the next minute. I didn't know the answer to give him, so I just nodded my head. He didn't seem convinced. That was understandable, I wasn't convinced either. "What's your name?" He asked, and I whispered out my name. My voice sounded strained and my hand moved to my throat. I asked for his too, and I could hear the pride in his voice when he said, "Gareth." It was an ancient name, but looking at him, I could understand why that was his name. He said that he was a priest and I wasn't the only person he was accommodating in the woods. That was reliving to know, at least. I wasn't the only stupid person getting lost in the woods, after being told not to. After that little chat about his son, I didn't know what to do again. It was just noon, but the day was a bit dark, like it was about to rain. I really hoped that wasn't the case.

Naya's POV What gave him the audacity to say that? He just met me thirty minutes ago, and he was already speaking like he was my father or something. I continued rambling on in my head, not saying a word to Liam again. I hated him already. "I have to leave. My husband must be waiting for me." I turned my attention back to my meal, bit wanting to see their reactions. "You're married?" I heard Liam say, while Gareth only sighed. I didn't know if it was my mind playing tricks on me, or if I really heard Liam mutter, "that's disappointing," under his breath. No, it was probably my mind. "Yes, happily married." The look on his face told me that he didn't believe me. I didn't believe myself either. The rest of the breakfast was consumed with no one uttering any other word. The only thing that was running through my mind was how Liam was Gareth's son, they looked nothing alike. I didn't want to ask either o

Zach's POVI was angry, so angry at my father, Raiden and...Naya. When I overheard her conversation with her brother about her going back home, I didn't know what came over me, but I didn't want her to go at all. I wanted her to stay with me at all times. I mean, she literally had two other brothers, who are capable of taking care of Ryker. I wondered why Raiden specifically wanted Naya to follow him home. I just knew that there was a hidden motive, but he wasn't letting even Naya know of it.That was so annoying and I just made my decision to refuse her request of leaving the house. Despite all my refusals, my dad still allowed her to go on and follow her brother. When she left the house, I went back to my room, with the decision to never allow her back into my house - my life. That was my final decision. When I got to the room, I laid on the bed without saying anything. I silently laid on my bed and closed my eyes, not to sleep, but to cool my temper. My eyes were closed and I could

Zach's POVBefore I met Naya, I had never had a vision - or dream about anyone before. It was overwhelming, at the same time, it was turning out to be helpful. With the way things were in the second vision I had about her, I just knew that she wasn't in a safe place. She was in fact in danger. With those thoughts running through my mind, I scrambled off my bed and grabbed my phone. I started calling her, but it kept on going to voicemail. On the sixth call, I was told that the phone was switched off. That didn't sound good. At all.Without wasting any more time, I ran out of my room and I went outside. I didn't bother taking my car. I just changed into my wolf and started running as fast as I could, as fast as I had to.A few minutes later, I was in the woods, howling loudly, searching for my wife. Everywhere was so dark, quiet and cold. If she was still out there, then I was sure that she would have been so cold and scared. Damn. I should have been persistent with my refusal. If I ha
